the background music or intro music use with mugen comes out very crackly/skippily (thats the best way i can describe it). I think its probably because i have a bit of a shitty pc so memory is the probelm, i've followed all the advice in the readme file on how to save memory but this hasn't helped, am i doomed to play without music or is there some wonder fix anyone can suggest?

  • Don't care if it's a sword or an egg, put it down!
Plug-ins are mostly required to play music.

If you're using DOS mugen try downloading and using VDMsound. If you still have problems switch to winmugen, although you need to install the plugins properly or you will still have problems such as music not being played at all. In order to do that read this topic and follow its instructions
