I think he was referring to topscale.

Aside from topscale screwing up the explods (WHICH DON'T AFFECT GAMEPLAY FUNCTIONS WHATSOEVER AND JUST LOOK A LITTLE BIT WEIRD), I don't see a problem with this.

Uh.... visuals are THE most important thing on stages.  If the stage screws up my CHARACTERS FX, then.... yeah.

blame the character fx not the stage you could resize the fx to fit the stage/character size

Another MKvsSF stage. Good job ƒıŖ£-ŁØřĐ...although it must've been real easy to convert with all the released reference ;). Still, it would be nice if ESFAndy released a patch for his MKvsSF chars to be compatible with your stages, so chars explodes don't show up humongous compared to the scaled down chars...either that or post an appropriate way on how to manage obtaining the right effect.

Cheers...I'm still waiting for that one stage in the top portion of the Dark Temple, with the bricked walls and arched windows...or was that already released?

ESFAndy's new updates fix that. I usually don't like these kinds of stages for Mugen because Mugen has yet to have true Samurai Shodown styled scaling, but Andy's characters look damn good fighting in this stage now. Also, all the scrolling and animation in the background really makes the stage come out! Great, great work. FiR3-L0rD when you gonna make Hi Res: The Bank from SF Vs. MK 1?

It messes up chars. Plain and simple.

UUGH! Why on earth is it so friggin horrible to do this? It only "messes up" the explods. Explods don't do shit, they just sit there and flash your monitor. How does this affect gameplay itself? If you mean proximity, it doesn't affect proximity or pushbacks or velocities in no way whatsoever. I've tried it. It's the same old mugen, just with wider space and explods that look a bit awkward. Finito, end of story.
