Ok, so recently at 11:00am this morning, I went to apply at a job where 50 people were applying. We had all recieved an interview the previous day and now we were going to recieve a second interview. The second interview was a group thing where we were shown demonstrations of what we were going to sell and how we were going to go about it. The mananger, a female in her early 20's and was giving the demostration, kept making eye contact with me. I mean, its an interview so I should not think anything about it (maybe cause I was smiling the most or kept cracking jokes). Anyways, after an hour and a half, she sent us in her office one at a time to determine who would get the job (theres only 4 openings). Many people came out pissed off, even one guy crumpled up his notes. After some time, the room began to clear out until I was the only one left. Then she came in and told me to come into her office. She asked me all of the generic questions such as "Why do you want this job" and "What previous employment", stuff like that. I answered all of her questions and tried hard as hell to not look at her breast. Everything went well and she said I got the job! :sugoi:
By then, I was already pumped and happy and then she says: "I would like to set up another interview with you Alex."

Now I'm confused and I say "Wait, what? I thought we just had an interview."
Then she says "No, I want to learn more about your personality to make sure your right for the job."
Then I was like  :shocked3:. AFter that, she gave me her phone number. The interview is tomorrow and Im kinda worried about it. Does this mean that she likes me or is this just an interview? I really dont want to fuck up my chances and end up losing my new job due to my relationship with my boss. What should I do?

 Don’t worry about it, just take one day at a time. Focus on other things not on something that has not happened. Most people get nervous on interviews. Think positive heck you have her phone number phone.Worrying about all of this will cloud your thoughts.

Relax.. take it as it comes. It could be a date, it could be just a more indepth interview. Do what you have to do, and see what happens.

what kind of position is it?
If its one where you are supposed to deal with new clients one by one she might be testing your capacity of reaction to social environments, would be a perfect test for a marketing position where you are required to interact with the client and find out their needs.

I doubt it.
Very rarely does life turn into a Penthouse Letter. But it does depend on the job.

If you're getting one of those sales jobs where you have to go around to homes and businesses and try to convince people to buy some product or service, then there's a good chance that you'll get laid cause there's almost no level of professionalism involved with that.

Keep us posted...and sneak a camera in just in case you get laid.
I wanna see.

But for a company? a mall, do you need to go meet clients at their headquarters or are you supposed to meet them on a store? Are you gonna need to travel a lot or do you sell through phone.

All those things would help us understand if being social and able to function out on a drink with another person would be expected of you. ( it would in the case of corporations or having you visit their headquarters, no one is gonna decide on a big sale immediately, and you might need to be persuasive and buy them a drink or two while you chat them up)

I don't know much about sales, but part of selling goods is also selling yourself.  My boss said he interviews sales guys for 40 hours before taking them in.

I go door to door selling kitchen and garden tools. I meet with each person for 45 minutes a day, get a sale, and make a comission. I would go into more detail but since Im new to this business, I hardly know anything. Oh well, at least they're paying me for the training. :)

Shit there is a risk here... She might be inviting him out specifically to see if he will hit on her, that being, to make sure he isnt gonna hit on his clients.
