Hope you guys like this one more than my last ones

It took a very long time to separate the house from its original background.

UPDATE

Added trans to the grass

Made the left tree a bit sorter and fixed the lightning sprites, i also added a flash for when the lightning flashes

Enjoy.

If anyone wants to use the house sprite or the sky background
feel free to use them but please give credit cause it took me a long time to get the house sprite separated.

Also, credit to Exshadow for the trees

This is one of the most enjoyable houses to look at,i've seen in a LONG Time.
fixed

I really love the house myself as well but there are some elements that need work
first priority would be the cut off lightning sprites

you also need to start checking your fps in debug
- Framerate : Mugen should turn at 60 frames per second (fps), always ! When you test your stage, and if it has a lot of effects or sprites, turn debug mode on with Ctrl+D, and look at the framerate at the bottom left of the screen. If it's not around 60 fps, you have to work on your code, number of layers, cropped sprites, etc. because that means your stage is slowing down Mugen, which is not good for gameplay.
I can hit 70 - 80 fps on Atlantis Remastered http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/8329/futwon.png
so hitting 35 - 40 fps on yours means others are probably running it at 24-34 fps

coding your stage in a way that prevents some thieves also discourages proper feedback
this method of coding is cool for a final release after it has been through beta testing
but can also be a bitch to deal with when making updates
I'm not going to spend my time reverse engineering your stage with the def like that
so I'm going to guess by the looks of it in game that there are 2 layers of rain when you only need 1
and that you can cut down or remove some of the fog and lightning elements
you can also experiment with the grass by adding ASD coding to remove the black outlines

edit - more feedback

The higher the better. 60fps is optimal, and has no lag. 35-40 is where noticable lag comes in.

Cool stage you've got here, with nice ideas and not bad execution. As said by MOTVN, the stage still needs some work though :

- Grass needs some transparency to remove the black outlines.
- The lightning is cropped, which looks ugly.
- The tree is mirrored, which is unnatural (please avoid as much as possible using same sprites for things such as trees).
- The tree is doubled in the SFF, which is not needed, since you could have mirrored it via animation.
- There's a black pixel at the left of the stage (you can see it better in the sky by jumping very high).
- You need to crop your sprites in the SFF.
- The screen flashing in white from time to time (as Noz's stages) could be cool, to simulate strong lightning.

The stage runs at 55fps though on my computer, so no problem for me on this aspect.

LOL MOTVN have a slow computer  :P

Avoiding "tiles" as much as possible will help the FPS

I think you should remove 1 and replace it with another tree.
