Name: El Castillo "The Castle" or Piramide de la Luna "Moon Pyramid"
Location: Chichén Itza, Peninsula of Yucatan, Mexico
Also known as the Temple of Kukulkan (Mayan Snake creature that borders the steps and who's head protrudes at the pyramid base)

I've actually been there! This is awesome...Good job!

Yeah, bro...I've been to Machu Pichu as well...but that's a whole other experience. Gotta get prepared and all cuz not everyone can make it cuz of how thin the air is there.

Also, they have restored a lot of it in the past 5 years because it was in really bad shape (it's OLD AS FUCK!) and I've heard people are not allowed to climb it anymore, or not until it's fully restored. I got to climb it when I went there more than 12 years ago...yep, inside temple where the statue of the jade-eyed jaguar is and all.

Thanks for making this stage...my wife is gonna flip, since she really liked it there.

Bro, the most important fact about this pyramid is that the Mayan made it precisely so that only during the Spring Equinox the body of the Serpent Guardian "Kukulkan" would reveal itself to them on the stones. What a trip!

I deeply recommend going to Cancun, staying in an affordable hotel and the next day visiting Chichen Itza. This Mayan landmark is a super huge park and very, very interesting is you're into learning about old civilizations.

The head was on the original sprite, but i removed it cause it ended up being way blury. Its on the other side of the pyramid though,

That does look cool though, does it get cold up there.

Crazy windy is more like it, the stairs are very steep because the Mayan where little people with small feet. I remember we almost had to crawl our way up there holding onto a fat rope that the park used to have in the center of the staircase.

Yes...Two words, bro.

 :2thumbsup: MATHEMATICS OWNAGE :2thumbsup:

Also, bro...I think you must be very proud of your heritage  ;). :sugoi:

...and if you guys think that this one is quite marvelous, then you probably haven't heard of the Sun Pyramid in Teotihuacan. The Mayans also built that one and it's twice as big as El Castillo.  o_O

It's so big...it probably doesn't even fit into Hires mugen  ;P
