Anjel said, May 02, 2010, 10:57:10 pmHe do have a point, he does leave some feedback and not only image-macros or flaming (not saying he is still a good poster though). The reason why he only got a slap on the wrist ban , no?3 days ban is over in a moment
I'm starting to get the feeling like we are going around in circles. Just give this guy a post limitation. Then he would save his posts for something better than pics and "this sucks"
When I say something sucks, that's just my honest opinion. To someone else that may not be the case, but to each his own. I DO say otherwise if it's improved in some way, it's just that most of the time (As in, almost always) it isn't improved at ALL.I can't help it that my way of feedback is simiar to Tough Love.
wouldn't that be a really great, encouraging environment if everybody posted SHIT SUCKS DONT DOWNLOAD GTFO [img[http://img.4chan.org/thissucks45.jpg[/img] at release threads of characters that need improvement?? no of course not. and since you plan on keeping the YEAH WELL THAT'S HOW I AM DEAL WITH IT attitude up then there doesn't seem to be much of a solution other than more bans.

They just want you to be more sincere and less "tough"....I don't think anyone's against tough love but I think everyone has to agree that there has to be a limit...without the limits that the mods and admins enforce the boards would be chaos, IMO....there just needs to be some limits and structure and I think that if you just make a genuine effort to try to be a little more sincere when conversing people will notice your efforts and be more willing to help you out rather than give you a "quick" ban.....though I really don't know the whole story I've read enough to see that this conversation is pointless....I think that you should just try your best at bettering your communication skills...the past is the past and bringing it up and expecting an apology of some sorts from the mods won't happen,IMO....all you can do is live and learn from the experience....and honestly no offense but if you don't agree with the way things are done here than maybe you should consider going elsewhere because the rules that are being enforced have been here for awhile and they won't change because your not "on-board" with them.....I hope that things get better for you and I look forward to seeing you trying to give slightly better feedback
Honestly man, we've all told him the same thing. It seems like it's just going into one ear and out the other.

It seems like it's just going into one ear and out the other.Yeah I know, but it was worth another try since this thread is still going...Sometimes it takes a different way of saying things to get the point across.....I honestly don't see the point in all of this debating though.....
I can solve this MFG staff bit is too strict thing easy...Make me a mod for a week. You think Shamrock and whoever else has an itchy trigger finger, you hadn't seen anything yet. I will ban you all!! Everyone single one of you!And then when the term is up, everyone will never think the thankless job the MFG staff does is too strict Btw, if you didn't know, I was kidding about wanting to be a mod here and banning all Though I repeat what I said before......I think that this rule, "Be nice, and treat the other users with respect. Behavior rubs off."as seen here: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=62286.0...is ignored by a lot of people here.
I could come up with a ton of examples of you doing the opposite of what you're saying but now is not the time.DF: Chill a bit. I don't want to see someone I respect get screwed over.
Darkflare said, May 03, 2010, 12:44:57 amI'm not looking for an apology, it's just that they don't agree with my methods.Your methods suck.Useful isn't it.
Darkflare said, May 03, 2010, 12:44:57 amthey don't agree with my methods. Then that leaves you with two options: change them or take them elsewhere.......honestly, this discussion won't lead to anything else.......
