Hi everyone, I'm back with this thread stuff for my WIP, here's the official list of that I'm working for:


1. Leonhalt Domador
GAME: Aggressors of Dark Kombat
ADVANCE: 85%
STATE: On hold... again u_u
Revamp of Arma_X's Lionhalt. After long time battling with the mess on AIR, at last I could finish AIR fix, now I can start to work
Differences between Arma_X's and Basara's
-New basic poses (ripping them right now)
-New palettes
-Complete AIR fix and adjusted axis
-Fixed all specials and supers
-New values for damages
-New specials and supers
-Added AODK FX and sounds
-Special intro against my Joe Kusanagi



2. Larry Light
GAME: Power Instinct 3: Groove on Fight
ADVANCE: 60%
STATE: On hold
Since I mentioned before, here you are ;) Another project I was making from this awesome and underrated game. Just with basics, standing normal attacks and some palettes. Freezed until I get sounds (FX and voice), just that :P Thanks to Phantom Blood and Ryoga_rg, now I got the sounds, so let's get back to work!! starting to make specials :D Made a few of them, adding sparks and FX now



3. Scott Pilgrim
GAME: Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game
ADVANCE: 80%
STATE: Making specials and supers, ripping Wallace (the last striker I need)
What I release of him it was just a joke release (if you played with him, probably you'll notice it), but my intention of making him is real. So, I make him offline and search/create the rest of his sprites to make him really playable. So, I added officially to my WIPs since now ;) respriting him using internet videos and screenshots only, see his advances here



4. Joe/Ghost
GAME: SF1 + SFA/CVS + FFSW
ADVANCE: 30%
STATE: On hold
Interested since the first time david_bazbal started with his project of remaking Street Fighter 1 forgotten chars with new sprites from various games (PIM, KOF, Garou, etc), I offered since the beginning to code his Joe. Now finally I got his permission and together will work until make this char finished ;) starting to work on him, using Falchion's Joe as base and modifying from there. On hold for now, still needing some required sprites :-\



5. Scaner-2013
GAME: Original
ADVANCE: 35%
STATE: On hold
The brazilian creator Scaner made this char in 2000 called as Scaner-EX, an edit of Sogetsu Kazama with a lot of water moves and stuff. Personally I always liked this character, but it has a lot of flaws, like bad clsns, wrong palettes, clashing FX, weird commands for moves and so on. The main idea is great, but the execution was poor, IMO. So, I wanted to take this character and practically remake him with new AIR, new palettes, reaconditioned moves, new specials and supers and some more stuff I've planned for him.



6. Bishamon
GAME: Darkstalkers (DS1 + NW)
ADVANCE: 20%
STATE: Adding normal punches/kicks
Searching for DS characters for MUGEN, I found there's no Bishamon for MUGEN. I mean, there're 2-3 Oboro Bishamon, and the only one that can be called as Bishamon is 3ha's, which is custom. So, after playing a lot in emulators (and some arcades of my town) with him, I decided to make a decent version of him. My main inspiration is Bishamon from the first 2 games, but maybe I could make a Vampire Savior 1-2 mode for him... or even an Oboro mode, but for now I'm basing in DS1-NW games for him. Using Renzo's Talbain as base, TDS's NW sprites and Felineki's NW sparks. Finished all basics, now adding normal punches/kicks and soon all the rest (sparks, sounds, voices, etc). Bishamon is back to my official WIPs, and this time he won't dissapear from here (except when he's finished) ;)



7. Chiho Masuda
GAME: AVG2 + VGC
ADVANCE: 30%
STATE: Starting to make her specials
My favourite girl from Variable Geo series, I love her since always. The ninja of the roster and one of the 6 original characters from the first game (along with Yuka, Jun, Manami, Kaori and Reimi), finally I can made her based in her appearances in AVG2 and VGC. Also, she'll have a secret mode with all classic moves from first VG games (VG1, VG2, AVG1/Super VG), soon you'll know about it. Just like Bishamon, all basics are ready, now adding her normal punches and kicks (she has a few now)



8. Frank West
GAME: Dead Rising + UMVC3
ADVANCE: 45%
STATE: Waiting for sprites
As you could read in Balmsold's thread, now I'm the new coder of Frank West :D working on him along with Balmsold himself who provided me of those awesome sprites. He has all basics ready and he's finished the normal punches and kicks, whicl will be added to SFF and AIR. This is the only WIP only I'll just mention in this list, for more info, visit Balmsold's Frank West thread in Projects



9. SSJ Gohan *NEW*
GAME: DBZ + Original (sprites made by Balthazar)
ADVANCE: 60%
STATE: Getting off the Joke, fixing him
Well, my April's Fools release of this year resulted different than what I expected, a lot of people (included Cybaster himself) saw in this character the potential to be a serious one, even with the lack of sprites Gohan has. So, after a lot of thinking and a poll with killer results (28 against 4), finally I decided to convert him as a regular character for MUGEN :D


That's all for now. From the list Leonhalt, Larry, Scott, Frank and Gohan are the most advanced chars of the list. I'll update this topic with every advance, welcome back everyone :D

Megaman BIG portrait right eye (artist left) looks way odd, easy to fix. However, I hope you have succes in your projects.

Also I check new damages for Leonhalt but... how many? 200 for lvl 1, 350 for lvl 2,or works in any different way?

I'm still making the SFF and AIR, I'm not sure about changing sprites, but probably I'm still working on him and I'll incluide in this list soon ;)

Megaman: yeah, looks strange now I see it well... it's easy to fix, I'll check it out ;)
Leonhalt: I'll look at damages in AODK and then I'll make the new damages basing in the use of lifebars

PS: Also, where I can get MBAC's Shiki Tohno sprites and sounds?? (I'm playing that game and maybe I could make him in a future)

OK guys, updated topic with new shots, some info and I added Larry and Another k9999 (asked for Cyb :P). About these 5 (since Jim has his own topic), the most advanced chars are Megaman and Lionhalt, the other 3 are in SFF-AIR ensemble stage, just with few basics (especially Saizo, who just can move (walk, crouch, jump, run and backdash))

OK, let's enjoy with the shots!! :D

You asked, you got it ;) new shots from Another k9999, all his basics and normal hits ready, now making his first 2 moves:

This is Psychic Hit, a 1-hit distance move (a la 2k2 Takuma's hand move). The weak version only hits forward and has a long range, the strong version has short range but goes upward and makes fall the opponent. Both versions can be blockables

And this is Mutant Arm, a short and quick version of k9999's SDM, that makes a lot of hits and has a long range, but doesn't make fall and it's blockable
And for AKIRA fans, here's one of Tetsuo's palettes for A-k49:

Not anymore. I cancelled that project because I don't have time to edit it and I lost inspiration for him :(

For Tetsuo maybe you get some Ideas from the other K9999/Tetsuo edit by PMD.

I havent downloaded it so I wouldnt know what it has that yours wont.

Well, I'm a k9999 player in KOF2k1-2 and I see PMD's Tetsuo in a video (seems as a slight k9999 edit) and only I can say my version won't have any fire-cutting move/special/super, mainly psychic attacks as you can see in the shots. And testing a few more, probably I could make a video with my advances in him soon ;)

Oh, and my Anti-Gouki Project topic was moved to Projects section, you can see it here ;) I hope to update it with more advances during this week...

Just telling that Another k9999 has all basics, normal hits and 2 moves done (Psychic Hit and Mutant Arm). And I got AKIRA movie, so soon ak49 will have Tetsuo's quotes ;) and decided to use KOFXI FX and sounds (but that doesn't mean he would have KOF gameplay, as stated before)

Also, just 3 notes:
-Still working in lifebars: updating Inafune Lifebars (mainly fixing various things, added NES MM sounds and some other ideas) and still working in Power Instinct 1 and CF63 1/3 lifebars
-I started other 2 new projects, but they will be secrets by now, until I get more and real advances of them...
-I REALLY need Groove on Fight sounds, FX and Larry's voice to still working on him, please if someone can rip them, I'll appretiate it a lot
