My First Release!! ;D

Dragon Chamber stage.
 It's in full hires 3d designed for my fullgame project. This is pretty much how the levels in my project will look like. I created the stage in 3d and rendered 237 frames then it became a matter of using deltas to capture the 3d cam movement in the deff files I learned from the creator  MACKX.

(THE ACTUAL RESOLUTION IS A LOT SHARPER THEN THE GIF IMAGE)

Screens

The soundtrack
Was also done by me for this stage.

Umm yeah, except that in some places it's grainy and blurry. I'll give it a test.

It's always nice to see new creators going into things complicated such as modelling a stage in 3DSMax to then render it for Mugen.
Graphically, this stage is really nice. The dragon is very well done, and I really love how the light reflects on the ground when you move.

Here's some feedback :
- The stage is not symmetric : you need to have boundleft=-boundright, which isn't the case. In the stage's current state, at the beginning of the fight, one character has the advantage on the other because his opponent is closer to the wall than him, which is unfair, especially on a very small stage.
- Would be nicer if the stage (in the DEF file) was named "Dragon Chamber" instead of "Dragon_Chamber", for select screen purpose.
- Biggest problem : the characters slide on the ground. In training mode, let P2 static, and walk with P1 to make the camera move, and you'll see how much P2 slides by magic. I know this is really something hard to render correctly, since you have to do trial and error tests to see how much sprites you need to make the stage not slide. Maybe you can get some help from MackX or Drex, since they're both very used to doing such things.

Finally, the stage would be even nicer with some animations. Of course, I'm not talking about 3D animations, but more about layers put on top of the 3D stage, such as glowing eyes for the dragon, lens flare or other things like that.

this stage is amazing, can you make a low res version of it?

Well being that it's 3D it wouldn't look so well low-res, IMO.
I dont know how that would work out.
BUT this stage actually is pretty sweet! 9/10 sure 10/10 once we get some animations!  :sugoi:

unfortunately it is very difficult to make this kind of stage perfectly symmetrical Due to the fact that only the sprites are really moving, and most times It will be asymmetric to avoid funny issues with the sprites.
First I was like: -_-
Then I was like: FUUUUUUU

:???:
I don't get what's the problem here. I understand calculating the position of each image without making a mistake, in order to ensure no sliding + symmetric stage can be very hard.
However, once your stage is done, with some asymmetry, it's really easy to fix it by just changing the position of the camera at the beginning of the fight, and changing p1/p2startx.

Basically, imagine that at the end of the creation process, you have your 3D stage with no sliding, but you have boundleft=-300 and boundright= 420.
To make it symmetric, you just need to change camera.start to (420-300)/2=60.
And then, to have the players placed correctly at the beginning of the stage, you need :
p1startx = -70+60 = -10
p2startx = 70+60 = 130

I deem this to be pretty reasonable too? But hihoshi says aysmmetry avoids other sprite issues? I see no reason why this should cause a problem once the sliding has been fixed? But well see how this turns out. I'm the noob here so --;

This looks nice, although I don't know how 2D characters will look against it.
