Why have the sprites been filtered so badly, they look flat out terrible now. And the win portrait. I'm sure there has got to be something better than that.
Sony took it down :( Guess it gave people the wrong idea. rip amberlamps.

Why have the sprites been filtered so badly, they look flat out terrible now. And the win portrait. I'm sure there has got to be something better than that.



In ReikoMikami.cns:

You know the character in the SNES game is pretty small........I needed to magnify her with the above Snes9X display setting...........  --;

About her MUGEN1.0 victory portrait, the original photo is a 16 million-color JPG........I needed to make it to 256 colors hence a color loss...............  :(

Regardless of her sprite quality, how is her game play felt???  :???:

 ::) this woman again.. i remember playing a game that has that character on the SNES kind of forgotten the name since i play it as a kid till the 3rd stage i gave up...if i recall the basic part of the game is you go around hitting ghost or super Natural stuffs with a wand..? oh well back to topic..

first of all i am kind of shocked somebody actually made this char thanks  :sugoi: for reminding my childhood..i will test the character out of curiosity i will ask this, does she play like her SNES counterpart?

ok she plays very similar to the SNES counterpart although i don't get the cat and mouse part... i notice the player can just spam the Z button and the opponent and corner him or her and just keep pressing the Z button..there's almost no way to escape but block it but when blocking the opponent will have problem getting out of there..

that move can't defeat any opponent,try press F2 and try to K.O with that move to see what i mean

Here's a better idea: Get a new win portrait, maybe an official art of Reiko instead of a photo of a figurine.

My memory of Ghost Sweeper is fuzzy, so I'm wondering if there's really any reason for that move to not be fatal.

5 minutes on Google, there's much more than this though

- Sprites are a filtered mess and some have white outlines.
- Mash X after QCFx2+Y for an easy infinite.
- What's the point of QCFx2+Z?
- Her supers have so much startup they're nearly impossible to use.
- Only 10 damage difference between each charge B,F+Ps?
- Stand Y and Z have no pushback.
- QCB+Y has massive stuntime.
- Winquote portrait is really bad.
- Charge D,U+P apparently doesn't like to work (I got it working once.
- Basics don't link at all due to the lengthy cooldown they have.

Rat-a-Tat Cat works like this:
P1 turns into a big cat and P2 turns into a rat, then after a 3-second countdown both P1 and P2 have some split seconds to do:

It must be something equivalent to an in-fight phase where either you or the opponent tap buttons precisely to overpower the opposition. I'll check and see if it stuns/disadvantages the loser of the Cat and Mouse game.

UPDATE:
If the cat hits the mouse, the mouse goes down to 1 HP.
