Pretty neat, though I think I'd have the characters stand a bit lower.  Maybe you could separate the snow into individual flakes giving them different velocities/deltas to make it seem a bit more natural.

Sorry for double post.

Feedback:
- it looks to high where the characters stand, possibly lower it down and the sprites so we can get a more better look at the sprites and view ^.^

- be cool if the water was animated (my opinion)

-maybe diffrent velocity on the snow flakes and deltas

cool stage thou, good sprites just work on the coding thou

snowflakes are good.

the river at the back needs improvemnt because the blue edges look weird i think. the edes on the top right (above benimaru's head) look alright compared to the edges on the bottom left (above strider's head)
