Hi all. Some of you may know about KOFE, a full game that looks to blend the KOF franchise style with some Capcom systems. The game includes a 71 characters, a fully functional tag mode, a minimum of 9 specials and supers per character and a lot of custom sprites. Congrats, from one content creator to another. I know it must be a load off. Look forward to that story mode should you ever get to it; I write myself, let me know if you need any assistance in that aspect.

Holding back while someone's taunting makes you block for some reason as it's just a taunt.

bro i tested this game. this game needs tons of work done to it. there are no combos. half of the chars moves are missing. and even if they are there the commands that they normal be are weird and confusing. and once again no combos at allllllllllllllllll. i cant even do a simple sweep into fireball. smh. chars feel like there 20% done. one thing i just don't understand is why would you guys remove some of the main moves from the chars. atleast give the chars there main moves and add 1 or two new moves. and the same goes for the supers. and another thing ya cant even super cancel or dream cancel. atleast super cancel. and once again noooooooooooo combossssssssssssss for no chars. when getting up off the ground hard to do a wake up special move or super. smh sigh. and like the guy said above why can i block when the enemy taunts. yea man tons of work t be done with the chars and within the game common1. there falling and flying all over the place when they get hit with certain moves and supers.

Appreciate the feedback.

There are combos system in the game and the decision for movesets was decided long ago. Characters are 100% as they were intended. Game's been worked on for 10 years. A couple years after I started, I indicated that the style that I was going for (a more classic style that is more accessible) wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. If you're experiencing glitches, let me know some of the details so I can correct them (71 characters are a lot to play test, so I'm sure I missed something).

I will change the state of the taunts to correct the blocking glitch for the final release. Cheers

oh so the moves was meant to be that way ok. oh ok well i hope you atleast try give them some combos atleast. im not sure if you know but im also working on a kof game also. so if you need help with making your gameplay system play alot better feel free to hit me up! all chars edited by me. check out the video!

but you cant do there support attacks from Hp or Hk close. i notice you only could do it with some jabs. most chars cant even dot hat from the few i tested. bro still alot to be done done with combos in that game. its like there all random some doing it but alot others cant. and that really alot of damage for a simple combo like that. the damage isa issue to with the chars

the creator straight up told you that game has been tuned for years to be like this what don't you understand ?

Also looking at your video, go play kof 2002 um/98 um to see what kof is all about.

Congratulations on the release, I now how much effort you are putting in here.
Downloaded it on my work's laptop it didn't run but I think it was because the default resolution config, will be messing with it later.

Are you allergic to reading? The creator said the combo system is supposed to be like this. Its actually way closer to classic KOF than whatever youve edited for that video.

BahamianKing Gaming, the combo system is more classic style. I drew inspiration from Kyo in KOF XIV which was kinda a return to roots. It feels rigid because you can't "pow" and cancel moves like you can in KOF. You can two in one from crouching and close sp into specials and supers or use the unique chain for characters. Some characters like K' and Elisabeth rely more on launchers, some like Lee and Iori have stun moves while other characters like Angel and Xiangfei are very chain based. Kyo and Maylee are more mixed. Their combo system and juggle potential in addition to their moveset is supposed to make them unique to each other. Actually put a lot of thought into it while trying to keep the balance of the game. Feel free to head to the KOFE forum and let me know what characters you're using and what's not working for you and we can discuss it there.

@PeXXeR, That is an odd thing to happen. There isn't any viruses in the exe. I can say that the exe was altered to allow the reshade.ini to access the program so that it can apply the graphic enhancements. If your computer is giving you problems with this version, delete the exe and grab the vanilla 1.1 version and replace it in the folder (just the exe). You won't have access to the reshader, but the game should work fine. Let me know if that works.

@AerosMugen Hey buddy. I'm curious to know if your computer supports openGL. It's the best way to experience mugen in my opinion because I find that the in game effects work better and the screen resizes to fit the display, but I don't know if everyone is capable of playing this way. Try turning it off and see if that lets you game.

I am curious to know how these turn out as it may signal to me that I need to rethink the default settings for the release to a non-openGL approach.

It was the resolution, I made it smaller and it ran as expected.
Tried a few characters, Kim, Takuma, Terry and Geese,
I really like what you did with Takuma, he is mixed with Mr. Karate.
Will get back when I have more time to test this further.

bruh i know what kof is all about. ive been playing kof from kof94. just seems weird to go with less combo system. even in kof94 and 95 can do more combos properly than in his game. some core bnb combos are missing thats all im saying. but maybe you guys dont play kof at or ever really played seriously to understand so ok

tried to run it a few times but never ran, only the launcher worked, whenever I selected any button, it crashed with some resolution error message
ended up deleting it :(

For some reason this grey box pops up with Kula's lvl 2.

This move messes up Benimaru's pants in his other palettes than the main one.
Edit:The last hit of Angel's lvl 2 misses on some characters.
