also yeah he is crappy, and someone cheesy. when i learn how to code *alot* better. i'll give him  the proper update he needs.

no way, i'm just used to getting 1 comment when posting a new topic.

and no i didnt edit him i made him.

i used the sprite sheet that ?Unknown? made. even thought he was never ment to be a mugen character i used my noobish mugen skills to turn him into one.

thanks for the char. your snake is really good. it is better than my brothers snake. you  could add an intro sound to him. you could also add a little more attacks and have his projectiles consume a little energy.

He could use some polishing up, but he's not bad at all. Here's what I've got so far:

- Missing Clsn2 on his backward hop, (A) combo, and Nikita super.
- Missing Clsn2 over his arms and legs during his physical attacks and projectiles, giving them infinite priority. His projectiles also can't be destroyed by other projectiles, which can be kinda cheap.
- Standing X punch (1st hit) = Infinite.
- He has no Clsn2 during his forward roll, but he has Clsn1? I'm guessing you have plans for him to trip up his opponents like he does in his original games?
- No jumping/anti-air attacks greatly limits his combat ability.
- The Grenade's movement doesn't seem fluid.
- Needs more cigarette smoking action. ;P

I was surprised not to see his knife or his classic "choke hold" used at all, but since you didn't do the sprites, I guess it couldn't be helped just yet. Still, with a little fine tuning, this could be a great character. Good luck.

1. back hop yes i know, A combo i was unaware of, nikita i was unaware of, i'll fix and reupload.
2. i'll add some clsn boxes, and the bullets can be destroyed.
3. yes i know about that x punch issue.. i'll look into it.
4. yeah i was making his dodging with melty blood in mind, and yeah i wanted him to have that attack roll.
5. no jump attacks because his sprites didnt have it, but i'll splice together some from the standing and jumping animations.
6. the grenade is a animation which sucks. when i learn helpers i'll do it properly. *grenade is my major flaw*
7. cigarette you say? lol

also... how do you sound effects sound?

Avoid bumping your own threads, besides the fact is annoying, it makes you look like a n00b. No offense there.

Better have 1 real helpful comment than a bunch of "downloading now. Cool" ones.

I like how you can combo the two melee attacks. Though you should make it so you could do the combo without hitting the opponent as well. You should try to rip some of Snake's grunt sounds as well and put them in there.

I don't know if you plan to use the other sprites on the sheet but you may as well add Crawling, ducking while moving, Cardboard box moving that might as well act as a small sheild, and an attack where you hold the famus attack button and start moving while firing it.

I really love this character, I do hope to see more of it in the future.

thanks for the idea's ragnarok... lets see..

1. lets see... for the first comment, i'll have to consider now its gonna work out but i'll think about adding that in.YES i will add more sounds... but its hard to find a quite place where i can make snake do stuff so i can get sounds out of him. the socom was taken during the darpa chief death room, everything else was taken before the psycho mantis battle, meryl was there "helping" me with sounds.

2. yeah the box running i was gonna use with his taunt. *taunt once to put box on, then you can move around with it, taunt agian to take box off* but this would be ultra cheesy. lol. i was also thinking of maybe during the F,F rolling dodge, if you press down he enters crawling state, but he lacks attacks in that state so i dont know what i could do with that.

3. running with the famas... i was thinking of that being a special, of course the bullets would be around 50hits, and the damage would be like 10 per bullet (500 damage total, half life) but i'll see what i can do honestly. i have some ideas but i dont think i can make them work with my current knowledge of mugen coding. (and no i dont like to read up on tutorials, i will continue to learn the way i've learned....TRIAL AND ERROR!!.

500 (10 damage per hit) damage is a bit overkill if the move isn't a level 3 and it's done with a less powerful weapon than the Nakita. 5 for each shot sounds more balanced.

If anything, the Nakita should be a level 3 attack that takes about 400+ damage with one shot or you could divide the damage and fire more than just one rocket just to add just a little more "spice" to the attack.

Just an opinion. :)

i like that idea! alright running famas super will be 5 damage per hits.

nikita will be level 3 super, with 300 damage (sounds fair)

i just hope you enjoy the gameplay i gave him.
