A basic CLSN tutorial which is not complicated or not detailed just for the sake of giving new creators a clear idea on how to make proper CLSN's.LinkClick on Basic CLSN Tutorial under Tutorials.
thanks for the tutorial pal I have been looking for normally I rip all the sprites with dip 1-2 and draw the Collision boxes over in my air file using fighters factory. After I have saved the files, I would rip the sprites again without activating the dip 1-2 and overwrite the sprites over. Now I am going to try out your tutorials to see if it is much easier. thanks again
The tutorial is for non-KoF characters since KoF has a CLSN viewer, for KoF characters you could just do it your way or by eye comparison. This tutorial is for guiding new creators on how to do CLSN's properly
how would you go about CLSNing your last example?since its one of those diagonal attacks and all its a pain
that's one reason why I found kfm's clsn tutorial superior to kod's, kod's ignores time, kfm says to keep it in mind even if it does not give a practical example of that., that kick is not diagonal at all.
there's no diagonal kick in the latest version of the tutorial so uh alsoK.O.D said, May 31, 2008, 03:58:52 pmugh, common sense people. If I bothered to make it all detailed worth all my experience gathering CLSN's from various games, it would span too many pages and i'm too lazy for that, so people should instead gather the experience regarding clsn making themselves instead of being spoonfed a "ZOMG I MAKE INSTANT GOOD CLSN I JUST HAVE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND BAM"in short, this is a "here's the basics, you pick up the rest by making some effort, good luck"
That's a common problem with "diagonal attacks" unless the character magically grows a diagonal leg or kick trying to cover the leg like a lot of guys do is wrong.
