Creating Captain Falcon for Mugen (Read 3009 times)

Creating Captain Falcon for Mugen

I am trying to recreate Captain Falcon from SSB into Mugen.
I have completed the pallettes and have all of his sprites ripped and cleaned.
Captain Falcon can only Walk, Run, and do a Light Punch right now.

I will accept any kind of support for the making of Captain Falcon, please note that this is my third attempt at creating a character so I'm trying to be very cautious. So far everything is good I just have to animate and script everything.  :S

I want this Captain Falcon to be have a hard ai, very combo crazy you know, I just don't know how that's done so if anyone is willing to lend a hand that'd be great, I'm doing all this by myself it's a real pain.

(I can't wait to script Falcon Punch)

U have a lot of sprite editing a head of u, interesting sprite choice tho, looks like u have the hang of extracting. I'm sure u'll get the hang of cleaning it up better as u progress.

What style did u plan of using for his moveset SSB, MVC, Street Fighter?

What style did u plan of using for his moveset SSB, MVC, Street Fighter?

I want him to have an SSB moveset, however I also want him to combo very effectively... and be able to launch into air combos. Sorta like what a level 9000 Captain Falcon is like ... okay not really but really good comboes.

Kinda combo up like that hard ai wolverine.

Lvl 9000 Falcon??? CPU Lvl 9 Falcon? As 4 the combo-ability just look at the moves ur going to give him and see if they can connect like in a combo, or tweak them until they do.

Nice sprites, those look like the original Super Smash Bros. Captain Falcon. :)
Been waiting for this, he's one of my favorite SSB characters.

Good luck :), very nice looking project, but will you make him not so small?
If yes, that's great!!

Also, don't forget to feature smash attacks like N64Mario's Mario and Luigi.

He's not that small, he's a little shorter than Kung Fu Man.

But I really... really... need a scripting partner... please somone help me make this work, I'll even pay you ffs  :-\

"Scripting" partner, do u mean coding, spriting what? Did u give urself a deadline 4 this project or do u just need some developmental assisstance?

what i like about the ed article is that the author honestly doesn't know that kung fu man is just a sockpuppet of mine. i honestly thought this was common knowledge.

Should've used larger sprites, particularly the size in which his textures are clearly visible.
No  Dark Sean and Gouken are Good characters
Trivial knowledge: Anime sucks.

Be sure to create three different .SND files for him: Super Smash Bros. (N64 version), Melee and Brawl.  The N64 version sounds better in my opinion.
My Mugen Wish List would include protagonists, mascots and other iconic characters with everything they have brought straight from their source with little or no editing.
