Hi gentlemen. This is my one and only project. Sadly i don't know how to use MUGEN. It's an awesome program, but i just can't.This project includes more concept than characters.Mike Haggar (Saw some sprites. They were really good. I think someone edited Marvel vs Capcom/Hulk.)Zangief the Red Cyclone (Can't imagine this game without him.)Alex (Nice Design indeed)Hugo Andore (We'll need a big guy!)El-Fuerte (and a small and fast guy...)Mika (we're also need a girl)I just didn't wanted to use this muscle bomber and slammasters characthers. And this game would be looking like Street Fighter Alpha. Gameplay also should be really simple. 4 buttons instead of direction keys:Punch/Heavy BlowKick/Heavy KickAnd of course that concept must include some grapling moves, which i like to call ''Gotcha!''.I happens when player pushes both of punching buttons or both of kicking buttons.Gentlemen, i know it sounds stupid. I need MUGEN programmers and designers to make this game. All the Artwork such as fighter portraits, music, stages and moves will be made by me. Even menu and biografies. In fact fighter bios will be really complicated.Thank you for reading...
That's the problem, i'm a graphic designer. I can draw vectors. I don't know how tom make a sprite work...
It's going to be hard to find a coder then. You might be able to get someone to code the aesthetics, like lifebars/screenpack/etc, but outside of that...
draw a vector image and rastafarian it....errr raster it, make sure the pallet is good, make sure it looks fine, throw everyrhing away that you did and learn to be more useful than just being a concept artist and lead designer, you need to be able to work with your team, people dont like it when others just waltz right in and say here can you do everything while i do nothing except lead the projectedit - since when are you nice to newbies jango

Make storyboards (no not really, but we need more storyboards in MUGEN). Then work your way up to character making. There's really no "learning curve" to speak of in character creation but once you just decide to grit your teeth and charge into it, it becomes cake.

anyone can gather sprites together, sorry but you will want to try harder if your going to get support
rattle said, April 30, 2009, 02:07:17 amraster? its a mugen term right?Raster = pixel-based, as opposed to vector, which is mathematically-based.
