Anyone else I 4got to mention

I started him only two weeks now so there are things i have to address

1) He's has some issues that i havent fixed yet
i) cannot cancel lvl 2 supers
ii) sobat kick does cancel well in A groove
2) Havent fixed his basics correct e.g you can cancel a special move after crouching medium punch, this can be easily resolved

I'm sry, i was rushing him for Christmas and exams and girlfriend took most of my time soo...... although he is not perfect, he's 95% complete (to me)

He has all his supers (but i took out one, it a minor had issues), all specials, all basics, etc

PLEASE TEST AND LOG ALL ERRORS

Neat.
I always thought Dee Jay was a cool character, and CvS2 would fit him well enough...let's see what we got:

The running animation...lol
Standing MK (close and far) doesn't push Dee Jay back if opponent is in the corner
The transition from jump to crouch is too long (can't combo jumping attacks into crouching ones 90% of the time)
Both throws do very little damage
No voice clip for recovery roll
Some weird CLSNs IMO

I see you said you rushed him for this release, so it doesn't surprise me that it's got it's fair share of problems.

If you fix the bugs though and work the kinks outta the super you removed, he'll be a keeper.

I just realized I gave him my old run sprites
here is an (old) updated version

I think the problem is the sprites are cvs sized, so when the character is scaled, these already scaled sprites are scaled again. Is the run really that bad?

edit: I think you should give the biggest thanks to Kira/Jesuszilla in that first post. No?

The updated one looks better, although I think Capcom did a very poor job on his Alpha sprites anyway, so anything would be an improvement. Also, his sprites don't react as well to the scaling as the other Capcom CvS2 characters, but that's not your fault. I didn't get to test him much, but I thought I'd chime in on the run/sprites thing.

This isn't being a leech, but with the way this guy ... or whoever is making these SFA CvS characters is going this is what I'de like to see ...

I like the idea of taking SFA Characters and CvSising them ... it's pretty legit. The run anamation doesn't bother me seeing is he never had one ... this guy is the man.

when he says young i think he means alpha sprites, he could always just replace the sprites and reposition clns and fx himself, wouldn't take him too much time.

Look, I was being a leech dick. I was just suggesting the idea of. I really wanted to see them that bad I'de try to make them myself ... sure I'de fail ... but w.e. ... I hate people on here with a passion sometimes. I'm not like the typical fanboys who just are like "make this" .. I was jsut saying and the guy above me know what I'm saying.

funny that ALOT of you all aint cussing me releasing deejay with alot of errors. I must really say sry for not fixing all asap, but i just wanted to give a Christmas gift.

Hey Banja, thank for this release, I really like Dee Jay and the CvS 2 system, so this char is a winner for me.

And don't worry about bugs : it's ok to have them, who doesn't? Just fix them after!
