A thread for the webcomic MS Paint Adventures.

What is MS Paint Adventures? it's a webcomic that mimics graphical text adventures, comprised of several stories. MSPA is quite unlike most other webcomics, experimenting with using flash and gifs and music to produce a varied array of panels and the like. Sometimes there are even little minigames in place of a panel. And it is, above all else, extremely self-referential and delves deep into metafiction.

What is Homestuck? it's the current story of MSPA, and I'm sure that you have heard someone tell you that they want to explain it to you, and your reaction to this was, quite rationally, to flee.

Anyways, Homestuck starts off as a simple tale of a young boy trying to play a video game, and eventually becomes a multiverse spanning mega-narrative that has been running, aside from a few infrequent interruptions, nearly constantly, for over 3 years.

Where are the weird gray people who talk in leetspeak I've been reading for over an hour and the stupid kid hasn't even left his house yet christ almighty Be patient! Things get way crazier from there, think of all that as setup! You'll be making shipping charts of gray people in no time, just you wait!

Never heard of this before this thread, so I gave it a shot.  Goddamn it, this shit is addicting.  I read all the way through Problem Sleuth in two days.  And then my brain exploded.

to everyone else i think a explanation is due.

Mspaintadventures is a webcomic comprised of several stories, the current one is called Homestuck,the previous one was called Problem Sleuth.

The webcomic itself is extremely experimental in the way it tells stories, replicating techniques from games and mixing multimedia with its own meta narration.

Despite being very simple, its also very addicting. ( it stops being all that simple when it starts going more and more into meta narration and multimedia)

You are going to love homestuck afterwards. The hardest part for newcomers to go through is the first chapter since its the "player" learning how to interact with the game, having a taste of problem sleuth you will have no issue with that.

Homestuck is quite awesome indeed.  I'm just starting on Act 2 now, and wondering what the hell happened to the player commands.

Finally finished Problem Sleuth as my first MS Paint Adventure.

It was funny, but really fucking weird too.

Is my head supposed to feel like my brain got turned inside out?
