it's still a bug ridden mess. and unless the gamebreaking glitches don't get patched out before evo, it's basically a joke of a tournament game. not that i am really a big fan of mk to begin with.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Loling at all the people in chat telling Mike Ross to shut up.
Card Sagas Wars > what ever you like.
POTS has his name in 50% of characters' readme. I shall have 50% too, but for stages ! :ninja: ;D

Since the game was already released, can everyone who bashed MK before and went "LOLWUT" when they found out it would be at EVO tell me if they still think it isn't tournament worthy?
It isn't tournament worthy.

Back home from SS, feet killing me and can't get a seat to save one's self there.  Daigo was apparently a no-show, Tokido's signed up with Mad Catz, and he'll still be with the Travelling Circus as well.

Mike Ross couldn't believe how all arcades in Australia are $2/credit, and then threw away even more money betting on first hits.

Well i got the patch and from what ive heard, and seen, alot of the issues did get fixed, as well as some buffs/nerfs that were fairly reasonable

Argh, I tried staying up to catch the finals, the stream woke me up at 7 in the morning with Gootecks yelling "POONGKO MAKING MOMOCHI LOOK FREE!!!!" >_> goddammit, I hope they put the videos up somewhere.

I followed the link to look up this evo thing people are talking about, but I can't quite figure out what Evo is here... But people here are talking about all sorts of fighting game series having some part in this.... So my question is, what is evo tournament? Is it a "best fighting game" competition or something? If so, how do they decide the winner? Is it like an ultimate tournament where chars from all different fighting games (whichever are chosen on their list anyhow) can enter? What is it exactly?

I missed a fair bit of the ECT stream, it seems.  Also, from what I've heard so far the competitive level of SS is blowing ECT out of the water; people are asking for double Evo points from SS.  Sort of a shame, because looking at the results it was a mix of characters I wouldn't mind seeing more competitive play of: Viper, Guile, Ibuki, Fuerte...

http://www.justin.tv/shadowloohq has the entire stream.  Starting from here you get the Final 3 of the Teams comp, followed by SSF4AE singles Top 12.

Also, I think they mentioned that all the matches (incl. ones off-stream) will get uploaded seperately in the future.  This guy has a few of them already.

Poongko V Momochi - Grand Final
Mike Ross V Mago - arguably Match of the Tournament

So I'm confused, do they have a separate tournament for Super Street Fighter 4, and another for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, another tournament for Tekken 6, and so on? Meaning several people can be a winner of a tournament?
