I think he means using the graphics tablet. There is an electronic pen/pencil which is probably attached to the monitor of somewhat like a computer. I've seen one before but I haven't touched it. You can point with a pen to the monitor screen to do any like tracing or sketching. I think the graphics tablet is probably used for doing art work. To me, mostly architecting, drawing, sketching, etc.EDIT: If you don't know what it is, you can check it on youtube. I forgot that the name is Wacom. There're lots of graphics tablet to view.
I've had the pleasure of using a Wacom screen at school, it's awesome. I can't work with a Wacom pen/tablet though, doesn't do it for me.But those screens are hella-expensive!
Messed around with it a little to give it a sleeker look (and to get rid of those Rugal colors that otherwise don't fit well with Terry's pants). To be honest, though, the head and neck need to be reshaded a little bit, and I'd suggest giving him slacks instead of jeans, or making the jacket look like a longcoat or something.EDIT: I just noticed that his right (artist's left) knee is dislocated. Let's see if this works:It seems like the perspective on the legs is a little off, too, even in this one. Also, a new face for a new crappy edit:Couldn't get the BG out of this one, Paint sucks and I don't have Irfanview on this computer.

I guess you're right, I should probably stop trying, especially considering that if it isn't finished by now, it won't be later. Though I could use the stance (albeit with minor tweaks) and the general form of the sprite (different outfit, maybe?) for a project...?
Jesuszilla said, June 30, 2011, 06:18:15 amNo, don't use the stance because it's terrible.Elaborate on "terrible". If it isn't anything that isn't easily corrected or changed (i.e., "minor tweaks"), then it shouldn't be too much trouble to fix.
It doesn't seem like an advantageous fighting stance. It's like he could lose his balance at the touch of a feather.Yes, I realize we're talking about totally fictional characters, but the rule is the stance has gotta actually be cool enough to dispel the fact that the stance couldn't be used for anything. This isn't one of those cases.
You realize he didn't "make" the sprite in the first place and just edited off of Mugen Ninja's, right?
I guess, though I've seen plenty of characters with stances that are neither cool-looking nor practical, but I'll see what I can do (perhaps on the "cool" front, at any rate).@MalaDingDong: Which, in turn, are frankensprites that (at least for the first one) look completely out of place (I'm kinda leaving myself open on this one). I an aware that they are not mine.
