Hi,

i am very active on Deviantart where i am initiating fan-art drawing contests in a fighting game related group there.

However, i had the idea to make something different out of a small Toshinden contest there

The Idea is very similar to those videogamemusic remix/cover album projects on overclocked remix...just with fan art instead of music.

In the contest there, quite good Eiji and Ellis pictures were made http://fighting-games-elite.deviantart.com/gallery/31454668

Both artists who made them and 2 more which i contacted  liked the idea of a fan art project for all Toshinden 1 characters.

Why did i make this thread here on the MFG Forum? Because i thought someone from here could be interested to participate in this project as well.

If this one turns out good there will be more.

A gallery with all fan-arts would be featured on my ga-hq site it is a goal from me to establish fan-art projects there in the long run.

I believe that pixel/sprite-art could be used for this project as well.

that basically means you are interested in a toshinden in general or toshindne 3 contest,, sorry bud..but not today-

Its the first time i try something like that and i think its better to start with something small

I'm interested, but do I have to draw the WHOLE characters, or can I choose only to draw Sofia

of course not, i try to organize it really just like they do on overclocked remix with their vg remix albums there

i made a forumpost there http://www.game-art-hq.com/forum/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=16.0#postid-44 on the forum of my own site, alternatively also a similar post on deviantart, from where the most artists i know come

everyone who is interested can claim  one of the characters via that forum

OK, here I try to draw Sofia, but I have doubt about the detail of her costume... since I gave my PS along with whatever game I had to my brother, I couldn't check the details, I remember she wore something like psylocke, and whip and big red earring, can anybody help me with other details, I've been trying google but it confuses me even more with BAT1/2/3/ movie costumes.

sweet, that picture makes a fast progress, i guess it will be the first finished one except  the Eiji fan art which was done 2 weeks ago

http://busasami.deviantart.com/ Busasami just claimed Uranus from the GameBoy version.
