Garou Mark of The Wolves II is a fighting game based on the original game Garou MOTW launched in 1999, it has a new game system with influences of a lot of games and original ideas, trying to bring some inovation for the game system of the fighting games. I am working on it alone, now working on the 2nd char (Andy Bogard) using Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 sprites, if anyone want to join me on this, i would appreciate a help with screenpack and lifebars because the game don't have its own yet.The video link is below:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QDzd5o_RwmkOpinions are very welcome.
Im surely going to watch this one very closely!Sorry, I have my own project and Im helping in other's from time to time, but looking at the video I can tell you'll get attention.
Interesting. It could be good to have some returning characters from RB series by scalling them and adapting to your game system:Mai, Tung, Kim...

Good thing to see some advance in your project. It's a nice choice to use RB series sprites for your MOTW game.I have a suggestion : Try to base your colors (Skin, hair...) on MOTW existing chars, so Andy and other older characters will look mixed with the whole game.Good luck!

Well, it's original... the combo system looks more like vs games than garou, but looks good. BTW, the guard cancel may need a limiter, if you can cancel guard whenever you receive a hit, no one would land a combo ever... or worse, may go in favor of attaking with no care (since mind games would look useless if you guard and then cancel into it)May b just my apreciation, but in general is looking way too good.See ya!!

The combo system is based in Real Bout 2 with some influences of Tekken, The guard cancel is not done during the regular guard, is during "block" this one is similar to street fighter 3 parry and so dificult to do like the same, the block move uses a button to be done and if the player do it wrong, will be exposed during some frames, this block "guard" cancel is harder to do than the original Garou. After finishing Andy i will post another video explaining better the game system, thanks!
I think you should release a char so we can try it out and see if the gameplay is flawed or not (not leeching).
