Ok I did a tutorial "book" so it is kind of large, don´t take it as a wall of text.

Animation tips


Head Method

okay let me help you with this and explain how do i do the stand animation.
The way i do them is using "El método de la cabeza", Head method.

Extremos y Medios (Edges and mid-ones)

Okay let me help you again, this time i will show you how is the "Extremos y medios" method (edges and mid-ones?).
Well this technique is the main base of the animation, Basically is this: "do the most important poses and make the in between ones".

That's interesting, I use Ms Paint for 99% of my sprites, and I always used "Fill all lines with black, Inverse, Images, Attributes, Black & White"

Incredible. That tutorial is just the perfect way to make portraits using MS Paint. (or Animation Shop, since the process is almost the same)

That's a hell of a tuto for people that can't afford a program like PS.

Even me having purchased PS will take a gander at this process cuz it is indeed interesting and may get different results.
