Well, he did say "mvc2 styled combos", not gameplay, so we'll see.
It may be something like my Batman/Goku or Buckus chars, with very loose combos.

And I see SF3 hitsparks, not CVS ones, but these may come from the screenpack.

Anyway, good luck with this, and I'll hope you'll make the gameplay interesting and won't be using badly done MVC templates.
