This is my entry for the 2013 stage contest, and what I consider to be the best stage I've ever converted to Mugen.Download Link:http://caddie.smeenet.org/stagewmdn3.htmlThis is the one stage I always wanted to finish. I started it in 2006 but never finished it because of how complex the coding for the rising sun background is. So this is a 7 year wip. Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyIt goes through a series of palette changes while also animating two separate animations; the water moving and the sun rising. Overall it's over 300 different frames, but the animation lasts for over 3000 ticks. I animated that visually by recording every frame and advancing it in animation shop.Oh and the stage is Mugen 1.0 compatible, complete with looping mp3 when used in 1.0. Enjoy!
Best as in most accurate stage ever. Thanks for sharing another fantastic stage. Chalk up another permanent addition to my Mugen Collection. You rawk sir.
Its incredible... you have proven what I've always known. You don't need fancy hires graphics and particle illusions to create a beautiful stage. Just great sprites and some innovative coding. I once aspired to be compared to the likes of EXSHADOW and Margatroid. They're still 2 of my favorites but I think my true goal is to represent the way you do, bro.Keep rock'n, homie
now i can safely remove all the versions i had prior to this one...with a big smile on the face too :pthanks for the hard work!!
Thank you, every one of you. I am honored to be getting such positive feedback. It really makes me happy and I'm glad yall are enjoying this stage.
