This stuff is golden.

And it shows how a true game designer works and thinks.
Thank you for translating his tweets, feliniki.

SF2NES is dead. Long live SF2NES.

Here you go.
2/3rd of this is stuff that is already in SF2, 1/4th is something that is already in other games, and the rest is very minor or completely irrelevant. You're still not making sense.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

I'm pretty sure it was covered right here...

Ah, now I remember. That was, again, leftover from when we were experimenting with juggle combos, and forgot to remove the hitboxes on one frame.
(In reference to Champion Edition Dhalsim's juggle glitch.)

Wait, it was combos, not juggles I was thinking of. I don't have a specific source, but here's a Cracked article and a 1UP list covering them briefly.

  • A frame here, a pixel there.
Nishitani actually just recently clarified the thing about cancels in an exchange on Twitter. Long story short, they were a side effect of a system put in place to make special moves come out easier. They found out about it during the development process and decided to leave it in because it was interesting. Whether that really counts as a "glitch" or not is a matter of semantics.

All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

Thanks so much for this, I love this kind of stuff. It is the most interesting stuff I've read in a while.

Joystiq just made a post about this without crediting us!! Instead, they mentioned Eventhubs as the source. Didn't Eventhubs find about all of this through us?? :doom:
