Sometimes it doesn't work. Remember, I said sometimes. I got into that though.

I tried this the other day here:
@Alex Sinigaglia: Thanks, I'll go give that a try.

@MJM: that's funny you posted here right after someone mentioned you.  And that's my fault, I just saw the dead links in the release thread and assumed it was down.  My fault.  I'll take the other issue to PM.

Thanks to all.

I forget how to get the user tagging feature to work, but you get the idea.
What did I do wrong?

EDIT: da fuq?  It didn't work the other day in the Request thread, but when I quote it here, the tags show up.  The original post in the request thread still doesn't have the tags though...

Is the tagging feature disabled in the request thread?

Damn it! I just noticed that several emoticons were removed from the smiley list. I'm not going to memorize every single emoticon! Add them back, the list was OK a few days ago! >:C

I removed quite a few because I thought maybe it just had too many. I think it's the larger ones causing the issue though.

It takes forever to remove and add them because the batch function is broken. Before messing with them I'd talked to Val about our options. Including the old way that made a new page. He said that it won't work.

So I'm compiling them into a post as he suggested. It's just taking longer than I anticipated to finish it all up.

I think you guys should add auto scaling for any avatar that's bigger than the size limit, otherwise shit like this happens:

I don't know if you're talking about the image I posted or about the broken image that's inside the image I posted but I was mainly talking about pics you set as your avatar that may later be changed by something bigger.

Didn't we have an exploit long time ago that allowed us to have bigger avatars by just replacing the image that was hosted in a specific link?

EDIT: ALSO THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE POSTED AT VALODIM'S THREAD God damn it. Either just move the last posts there or keep going on I don't care  :wall:

it shows now, but it wasn't working earlier. nothing from puu.sh worked.

what you posted is a very rare occurence and should just be reported. probably not worth the effort of an official fix

i can, however, change my avatar to a 150x12 image, which would be within avatar limits, and it would still fuck up the forum layout. just look at my threads in feedback

For some reason when I'm trying to send a PM, it doesn't send it. It goes to the compose PM screen and removes the user's name from the to field. Trying again simply causes it to loop back.

did you hit "reply with quote" it sometimes does that to me, so I have to just reply or compose a new pm, then add the quote/username manually.

does it happen while replying to a specific person, or does it happen while replying to everybody ? the user kamiya (irc dude who barely ever posted in the forums) was pretty famous back then because nobody was able to pm him.
