Gladiacloud here.

I and Beximus are back with a new MVC style character!

After Akainu, I decided to create for him a sort of rival. He comes from the Capcom universe, and it is not a main character.

He is one of my favorite boss from the game Rockman X4, as well as the only Maverick robot with references to the Street Fighter characters.

As well as able to control the magma. :3

Although Beximus helped me a lot in creation of Magma Dragoon, he will not be part of his full game. Who knows in the future.

I wanted to create him because I've always wanted to see him fight in Mugen (and I think many others Mugen fans).

I could never make him, if, back in 2002, a retired mugen creator called Jack Bandit not created a Magma Dragoon using a lot of edited sprites and a
six buttons system. His Magma Dragoon was practically incomplete: he had not get hits, he was full of bugs, and his FX were a little messed up.

We can say that, after 12 years, I was able to complete and improve the work left unfinished by Jack Bandit. ;)

Have fun!

Gonna give this badass a try.
*edit* Okay what I found while testing,
- Shakunetsu Hado misses if the opponent is close to you.
- I think Bakuenjin should be a level three but that's up to you.
- Nagareboshi Rakka should be a level two but again its up to you.
- Needs better voice clips, why not akuma he has the references?
+ Shun... Could'nt avoid the Akuma reference much huh? XD
Overall not a bad character very fun to play with. Are you planning to make Slash Beast or The Colonel?

Not bad, not bad at all. His crouching punch is an infinite though.

Magma Dragoon... Now that's what's up. Makes me want to pop in my MMX Collection. He was defintely the coolest Maverick. He feels OK. Clsns could be optimized, but for the most part, they look pretty good. Here's some feedback...

-Nagareboshi Rakka super causes debug flood

-His Hadoukens don't seem to clash with projectiles, just going through them...
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
I've heard that Training's projectiles may not be the best for checking/testing projectiles. Though more times than not, when I test a char's projectiles against him, they clash/work as they should. So, you may want to check this.

-LK > MK > HP > HK > LP Hadouken > Dash > Repeat for an infinite
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

-SRK vels feel weird. They also take too long to reach attack frames. Also, he should be invulnerable during startup/grounded frames only, not while he's in the air.
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
It's strange. Because with no invul on startup, it pretty much kills one of SRKs' main perks. Using it for interrupts.

-SGS(Tenryu Mokushiroku) feels tacked on just because. I agree with the above comment that Bakuenjin could have served as his Lv3 and been more original to him as a char. I would suggest giving Bakuenjin a hit on startup that launches p2 and sets them up for the meteor barrage....but he's invulnerable while doing it I believe. So, I guess that's good enough.

-Air Hadouken giving him an odd -y vel upon firing it feels strange. It'd feel better if it just handled like MvC Ryu.

That's all I got for now. May have more later. Needs some touch ups, but a pretty good job out the gate.

Does the character have all of the required sprites?

Rest in peace, Tamez. Thank you for everything.

Holy sh!t, this is awesome. Here's my feedback.

- I agree with the SRK. It takes a bit too long to start-up, and should only have invincibility frames at the beginning, not throughout.

- Some of the voices seem to kind of clash. Hearing some with the robotic-ish undertones and then others without, specifically his win-round quote.
   - On the topic of voices, his taunt could use that roar sound. It seems kind of weird seeing him roar, but not have him audibly roar, y'know?

- Not sure if this is just me, but Magma Teleport doesnt seem like it can work other than for RDP + 2K.

- Crouching MP seems to have the blast sound play after it hits the opponent.

All in all, great work and very enjoyable. Magma Dragoon was so badass they had him twice after all [Albeit only a training simulation in X5, but still.]

The fact that you even made this is just badass! Dude I downloaded him last night and I still can't believe that someone took the time to make this guy. Good release man!

I agree with some of the feedback here, butfor the most part once some of it is adjusted then he'll be even better. Thanks for the release dude

Another thing to note, if he gets attacked during Nagareboshi Rakka [after he throws the fireball but before the flame pillar shoots up] the pillar will still be there, and it can still damage the enemy. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but might be worth mentioning.

I would recommend asking Hades to make you a small portrait :)

Other than the infinites and problems that have been stated, I haven't found anything else to report. Great work guys ;D

I can agree with one thing you said in first post:

This Magma Dragoon should be a nice debut character in Capcom Universe.

I hope in some future, Beximus can put him in his future another project[Capcom Vs. SNK MAX] =D

Bliss...I don't even know what would fit Magma Dragoon lol. I'd assume he'd have the shock though because didn't they all have it in the Megaman game where he came from? o.o??
