No, it's an
error in perspective. Neither eye is respecting the other; if he was looking forward, both of his eyes are looking too inward and it looks unnatural. If he was aiming for actual Smash 4, Megaman actually looks to the side. Then he couldn't even be able to do that without looking weird because the head is straight but the eyes are tilted as if it were angled. This also inexplicable makes his left (our right) eye one pixel lower which is quite bothersome. Pair that with how his head seems squished inside the helmet, the left (our right) side of his head seems to disallow him from exposing his cheeks, as if his face were tucked in. Looks odd.
I understand this might all be due to going for an angle, but the angle just doesn't seem to work that well. If he's aiming for pure Smash look, anyway. Looks more like very early official art Megaman, in which it looks absolutely faithful to.
And as per
apparent thread tradition I too shall post some silly redone Megaman because at this point it's just getting ridiculous and we should all drop it.
