the right hand looks short and weird-looking.

the shoes need proper shading as well.

nevermind. i meant the hair shading. it's a little too dark.

and the viewers' right hand looks wierd.

Her (Ryuko's perspective) right leg looks off, but I can't put my finger into it (Aside from her ankle being a wee bit small).

I am wondering if I can just use art and steal the palettes for a similar effect.

Not a bad idea.
Should be more easy due the sprite size and number of tones besides the shading isnt really much specific except for the hair unleast iam wrong.

well, in most cases the lightsource comes from the top and there are 4/5 levels of tones in the shading. you're right about the hair though, ALL hair lightsources look like that on the French Bread characters.

That's looking pretty cool. You should totally finish it when you can.

I thought you were making regular SS Goku for a sec. Didn't realize it's a new form of his (with a.. pretty stupid name).

Anyway, good luck with the sprite.

You know, this style reminds me of the crappy Battle 22 sprites... just something about this style doesnt fit. I see great sprites nonetheless its just odd.
