Believe me. More people think they are good writers than think they are good artists. Look at Idea Engineering for the MUGEN equivalent IE: Even if I was truly awesome at it the odds anyone would actually read it to find out at a company like that are next to none. When they get so many story applications. Now finishing a MUGEN game and submitting it to Capcom to get hired for that! I think I got this one!
Just No Point said, August 19, 2015, 03:18:45 pmThat might be true. And yes, I'll do something from time to time and still work out story kinks. It'd be easier to think it's laid to rest than to try and tell myself I have to wait 10-15 more years to really work on it again Thanks for the kind words Never lay a dream to rest.Put it on hold, on the ice, whatever, but leave it in a place from where you can dig it and come back to it at a later point, when you are older. You will need said dreams by then.
i agree there, don't just throw it behind you. keep practicing on your writing and grammar (as i feel those are more important and less time consuming than drawing, and they can be done anywhere).oh and i've decided. i know want to read your comic, is this how i start reading?this one http://prologue.devonlegacy.com/then go on to thishttp://www.devonlegacy.com/comics/1
Yes. You can use the navigation buttons in Prologue to go to the newer series too.You can also use the arrow keys left and right to turn pages.IMO I didn't hit my stride till issue 3 of Prologue. Art wise and story wise. It's hard for me to read issues 1 and 2. But I've been told I'm a lot harder on them myself too so I dunno And I'll keep writing. I like messing with the sci fi aspects and researching things to fit. Right now I'm fleshing out the internal logistics of the Universal Wave Function instead of the Many Worlds Interpretation. The idea that everything in the universe is nothing but waves that are interacting to create information. And that all probabilities exist within the wave but we each form our own reality based on the Universal Wave Function and how other people's waves collide with our own as they perceive their own reality.BTW I'm a nerd lol
Just the act of creating an account on this forum makes one a nerd, so that person is a fake fakenerd!
Just No Point said, August 19, 2015, 04:41:29 pmThis guy!HOW DID YOU KNOW?Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYes yes, profile link joke. I know.
Oh wow, I'm so used to seeing the profile link joke that automatically assume it's that to bother making sure.
so, someone mentioned doing 100 crunches on irc, so I replied with the one punch man page, which invovled gooling for the phrase ( 100 crunches, 100 push ups, 100 squats run 10 km )... and it turns out some people have asked that seriosuly in body building forumsthis was my favorite one, thohttp://phillip-bankss.tumblr.com/post/117729159919/do-100-push-ups-100-sit-ups-100-squats-and-10km
for people who don't read One punch man, he's a character who gained superpowers by "allegedly" doing 100 crunches, 100 push ups, 100 squats, running 10 km and eating a banana iirc. hope that made E's post more clear now...
Bea said, August 20, 2015, 01:42:39 amI did 300 crunches and 100 bench presses today. Do I get super powers already? Are you willing to go bald for real ultimate power?
