And here comes the Astrals:Honestly all 3 of theirs is pretty damn meh to me but Nine's is overall the best with Hibiki's taking 2nd because of his final part and Naoto's is basically Ragna's.
Naoto's so horribly generic he doesn't even get his own finisher.When fucking Celica managed to get her own Astral when you don't you know there's no hope for you.
Yeah, they have no impact at all. I don't feel any reward by hitting an opponent with them, unlike pulling Hakumen's Astral Finish on somebody.
Honestly I just wish there were other ways to show and perform Astrals. Like stock gauge max to Astral, more Aerial types, extended requirements like during a specific state, more unique sprite usage like Amane, Astral at 50%, etc They are all rushed. Hibiki's kinda cool with glass shattering.

Yeah but him having the exact same Astral(he even uses a Scythe like Ragna does who atleast converts his sword into a BloodScythe) seriously does not help Naoto at all with being nothing more than a replacement for Ragna.Otherwise I can see why people are disappointed. Hibiki's could easily use more flair at the middle part(the focus on the moon at the first part and the final attack is pretty damn good but it's ruined by the fact that there's no real OOMPH to the middle part) and Nine's is sadly an inferior version of Kokonoe's despite summoning a meteor storm.These are sadly some of the weakest Astrals I've seen in Blazblue past Arakune's before CP or CSEX.
