Finally a newcomer on VS Style Debuts after a long time! I hope you guys enjoy this character, I believe he will be the last 2015's VS. Style Debuts char! Maybe another ones will comes before 2016 pops up! But anyway, enjoy him!

Not quite the Cody I was expecting, but still pretty fun. Not sure if you have already received this feedback, but just in case:
- His air Hard Punch doesn't seem to have any sfx
- Dead Lust only works with D, DF, F + LK and MK, doesn't work with any other kick combination, and in the movelist it says it should work with any combination of kicks.
- When near the side of the screen/wall but not actually up against it, Dead Lust's second hit will not connect.

Did a adjustement on Cody's knife attack

I don't know if they are fixed, on my work, they worked regularly

- Fixed all commands now, to avoid bugs using unused moves :D
- I'm trying to found a way to make the enemy bounce and fall exactly on the p1 position to make the second move works.

UPDATE!

- Fixed SFX on some moves
- Fixed collision between two knife attacks [Altough I need to code better these]
- adjusted command issues on all moves

- Changed a little the Criminal Kick, to avoid bug floating on air or possible infinites
- Added a new FX for Criminal Upper tornado. It's better than resizing the tornado. And yes, I made that inspired [AGAIN] on Beximus. I hope you guys don't mind about it :D


- YEah, I'm using dropbox for now, it's more quickier than mediafire [because the site today are bugged]

- This doesn't feel like Cody at all. I know that you're trying to not make them accurate and put new spins on the chars, but this might as well be a completely different char. It's like if I made Guile a grappler and just expected everyone to go along with it.
- Why does he throw a purple sword?
- Why did you make the sliding kick a DP?
- There doesn't seem to be a dampener on this thing.
- LK and MK do the same amount of damage
- LK -> MK -> HK -> QCB+HP. 283 about as much as a hyper. Plus, LK -> MK -> HK -> QCF+PP does 296 damage. I can get nearly the same damage without having to use meter. The damage balancing is terrible. Why would I do a Hyper if I could do roughly the same amount of damage without using any meter?
- Some of the kicks in QCB+KK miss.
- No F+HK command move.
- What's up with the red hitbox he gets when moving forward?
- MP misses during a combo.

Oh, and get on Skype once in a while. I wanted to tell you my feedback there :c

Hmmm that's a problem... Since I'm not a experienced coder, I cannot bring a decent way to make Cody accurate like Beximus did with him and can't code a decent dampener without fucking off the character system D:

I maded him without any coding reference, only watching videos. That's why I've tried to give a free look onto him.

It's complicated, but I will try to fix these issues. [I honestly don't know if I will be capable to did it]

Hmmm that's a problem... Since I'm not a experienced coder, I cannot bring a decent way to make Cody accurate like Beximus did with him and can't code a decent dampener without fucking off the character system D:

They don't seem to be THAT complicated... Some of it just sounds like hitbox and/or chains in the commands (the damage ones are real easy to fix, but don't ask me about a damper... :/ ). I haven't tested them out yet, but if ya want I can try and MAYBE help ya with it (unless you have someone doing that already).

It's from the character I've used as basis. I don't know exactly why that purple knife was coloured in that way also. Maybe in a future update after I've done with FF1 based Cody ,I will change the purple ones with the silver ones.


Also, I should advise, I've updated now the Knight Knife move into a projectile move instead of helper. I should learn a lot of helper projectiles before using these.

I can't understand. What you mean with "DP"?

Also I've fixed the weak Ruffian Kick in a way to avoid infinites.

I'm still learning about coding dampening. This can applied also in AI. Ryu is the first one with the new AI code based on the old Beximus releases.

- I believe I did a solution. I've nerfed a little the Criminal Upper[Both Punch, who I've added now as a hit attack, and the Tornado Projectile] and I've buffed a bit the Final Destruction Hyper Combo.

It's intentional. Avoiding infinites and making the attack more "tactical" than direct. You will notice that attack functions better in giant/tall characters than using on small ones.

- No F+HK command move.

Will be added on Final Fight Cody as a knife alt. medium and strong punches

- FIXED! (I think is because the original author wanted to make something like a counter walking move]

- ABOUT ACCURACY..

Well, due the lack of knowledge of coding I've become uncapable for now of adding Knife alternate moves and some stuff was missed here. I considered that change because I'm going to make TWO alternate codys [The "Holding Back" version, who it's actually here, and the "Hero" version, from Final Fight who will gain a little different moveset based on a hybrid of SF and FF and a level 3 truly based on SSF4]
 
The "Hero" one will have some stuff from FF.
