The wait is over. And I can’t believe I will say this finally: After 12 years, MB-01 is done!

This character makes part of the project Street Fighter Special Operations, which has begun at 2002 in MugenBR (RIP) forum. Spec Ops is a full game which tells an alternative story about Street Fighter, from an alternative future where cyborgs are a common thing. Prototype Weapon MB-01 is the rival of Perfect Weapon MB-02, which was made initially by me and SodonHID, then redone be my and Ethan Lives.

M.Bison obsessed with controlling the world, Charlie capture to cyber experiments with in order to build an above normal fighter, able to be his right arm in and Shadoloo help you get DNA from several fighters to build a perfect fighter (later would be known as MB-02). However, due to several factors, this prototype does not go as expected, and ran away from laboratory. After an investigation, it was discovered that he had not fled, but was stolen.

MB-01 is a metamorphic character, made by tons of nanorobots, which makes him looks like a liquid metal.

Warning: For those who doesn’t knows about Spec Ops, all the characters on this project does MASSIVE damage.

Side note: There is a error at the debug, which happens only in Mugen 1.0 (works fine in Mugen 1.1) and I don’t have any idea why it happens. If you find why, just let me know.

Really thanks for all people who support us for all those years! If you check the readme, you will see how old this project is :)

I remember reading in 2008/2009 that this thing got lost in a hard drive crash or something and was never happening

Yes, it was true. Then we remake it almost from the scratch, using a pretty old version. Ethan Lives did a lot of work to bring it to life (he likes to work in the shadows), then I took the torch to finish it.

Hard times. If you look at the readme, you will see a lot of defunt/forgotten pleace, like MugenDev (Jesus, this is so old...). I feel old, lol.
I really want you guys to enjoy this. I worked pretty hard and almost non-stop, somedays I worked until 5 or 6 AM, for the last 2 weeks to finish him.

Any bugs, please drops me a line.

Yeah, that is the bug I mentioned. It happens only in Mugen 1.0 and I can't understand why. If you look the state, you will see that everything is correct. I am lost at this.

The beam bug I am aware (I forgot to fix it). But the throw bug is new to me. I will double check it, thanks.

Thanks. Yeah, the last unreleased Spec Ops was Power Gear, at 2013.

I remember seeing him on YouTube back in my old days when I started M.U.G.E.N (The one back in 2008), now look how much he changed over that long gap of time. Love how every punch and kick is a different weapon. Makes him unique toward the other Spec Ops characters. And hopefully we'll see updates to them so they're up to date with the new ones too.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

Spec Ops were some of the most interesting characters around when I got into mugen eight or nine years ago, and they still are today. Thanks, man.
