Yup you read the title correctly, I got permission from the man Sean Altly to create the sequel.
In this topic I'm gonna discuss ideas and what not about the game and if you have any ideas
And suggestions post them too.

Sounds not bad about features. But I feel many people will have to get used to 2 buttons system. Especially me. XD
And about throw- use SF2 styled execution.
-Close Contact + fwd/back + strong attack. In your case- normal attack.

the 2 button system is super easy to get used to but don't think the game is easy lol, now Close Contact + fwd/back + strong attack for the throws?
I was thinking that but I don't want it to interfere with basic attacks, I don't want throws to just happen by accident if your just trying to hammer your
enemy but I'm going to test it to see how it feels thanks for the suggestion.


just tested it works good ill keep the command how you suggested

I posted a demo with ken, his move set is..
X = basic attacks
Y = special attacks
X+Y = supers

hadoken, command = Y
shoryuken, command = DF, Y
Tatsumaki, command = B, Y

forgot the names to the supers but heres the commands

X+Y
B, X+Y
DF, X+Y

test out my 2 button system let me know what you think, its not perfect I'm sure there are bugs, list what you find
so I can fix them. any feedback is appreciated!

Screw ryu lol he's in all the v.s. games.
actually I have a couple ideas for ryu, I'm thinking of making him one of the bosses, as if in this game he turned to evil ryu
could not resist the satsui no hado.

He's in all the games because he is the standard character that the rest of the entire structure is based upon.  You literally cannot have a properly functioning game without him because the rest will fall apart without that standard.

Pretty nice roster!

But I think you should add at least one more Rival Schools character D:

Maybe Hinata or Kyosuke...

Aside of that, keep it up man :)

What Duos said, he's in every Street Fighter for he's created first and they build off the roster from there. Shoot, he was made before Ken, and everyone in the fighting game know-how knows this. I also agree on adding one more Rival Schools fighter. Seeing Volnutt in the roster reminds me of the CvTW DLC you made...ahh memories.

Dayum lol I didn't know ryu was that important, good thing I still have one half way finished. I figured Ken needed the spotlight for once and I do have a kyosuke I can include too but I want to keep both rosters small for capcom and snk I dont want to overwhelm myself and promise a huge roster. Ill be releasing a new demo soon. I did some changes to the gameplay. Added launchers and air combos like cvtw nothing to big and crazy. I have Joe almost ready he just needs some damage values reduced and some fx's for his alpha counter

If you guys want to test the new demo I got cooking up (made a bunch of changes gameplay feels alot tighter now)
Leave me a pm and ill send you a link if you can help me refine the gameplay find bugs give feedback on what works what doesn't. The demo posted up now is outdated I'm not worried about that one. Let me know if y'all interested because yall ain't showing no love here lol

You sir are twisted. But still a genius. Any hints on the Snk roster reveal?

well actually the roster is getting a change up again. its not gonna be just Capcom and snk...im trying to make a sequel to something..
wont reveal yet until I get permission from the original creator, but if I do there would be chars from other "worlds"  too lol.
the demo is outdated to what I have now, its a lot better ill post an update soon

Almost ready for the next demo, thanks for the advice guys. Ryu is coming out great just have to finish up some supers first.
I cant believe I was gonna leave him out.... --;
