I would like to wip Gamora Marvel, but she has a costume so much detailled that i can't find any good base to edit. Here some images of her costume:

The only bases that can fit the costume are these ones: Millarca and Draculina for the cape...and the image below for the sword, but don't sure if these are open source.

I really didn't fully read what you wrote,so I thought  it was for spriting,
 Check Psylocke by DivineWolf
Ms.Marvel from Zvitor for good base to edit.

I have suggestions but they require heavy editing.

Asuna from Dengenki Bunko Fighting Climax.

Haven't played the game but Koehimi Enbu has a few female characters who use swords.

Nanase from Under Night In-Birth.

i wouldn't even wanna edit over a base at all, it's smarter to do your own original thing, editing over a base makes things look obvious as to who the base is (this is almost always the case with many comic book characters) and many, many people just cut out frames from the original animations anyways so it ends up looking bad.

It's only obvious because 90% of the female superhero characters for mugen use Psylocke as a base and their original animations are pretty sloppy. Using existing sprites as a base can be an efficient way of spriting if the artist can maintain consistency between animations.

Loganir's Wonder Woman uses Psylocke as a base, but also Chun Li and Storm and those aren't as obvious. Warusaki and Kabe's Yoko uses animations from Mai and Yuri. They work just fine.

Wow, asuna is very good! She has also a cape, although i should resize her, cause she's slim.  Thanks a lot.
