I had planned on it but only because I enjoyed DA:I a lot, but it's pretty clear this isn't that, so it doesn't hurt me much to change my mind.

Doesn't help that it's coming on the heels of two very very excellent open world games in Horizon and Zelda and even if you're an XBox or PC only player you can get all three original games for the same price or less

I am prettya ngry over the fact that EA put their C team to work in this game, so obviosuly they did a C quality work adn people are shitting on the team (that did exactly the type of work a C team should do) instead of shitting on the company.

Because the under-talented devs don't deserve the ire of EA's usual anti-consumer bs. Except that one guy who believes you can't be racist to white people, feel free to have a field day on him.

Proper order of things is often a mystery to me

Well, that's leaving me conflicted. It doesn't really look that different for a remastering, yet the original StarCraft was pretty much perfect, I'm not sure I'd want them to change much to it. I'm also pretty sure it's going to warrant some hate for them doing this instead of something new, I too would greatly enjoy Warcraft IV, and yet I'm probably going to get it regardless. Unless it has a bad launch like Diablo III, but they've learned their lesson by now, right? Right?

For no particular reason, I've been pushing playing StarCraft II off for quite some time now, and I could use a refresher on what the hell happened in the original game before diving into that new trilogy of expansion packs. I remember what happens in the StarCraft Ghost novel tie-in for the game that never happened for some reason, Nova's upper class family got slaughtered by terrorists, she got kidnapped and pushed into a space whore house, gets her mind wiped, trained to kill people, yadda yadda, but it's been a while since I've seen what happened to Kerrigan with the Overmind.

There's also just something about the old cheesy sci-fi looks characters had before they completely changed everyone's appearances to practically different people that I find I miss.

I never got into that new Hydralisk Kerrigan look, hope they just make that old portrait hi-def.

Also, please keep the old character quotes. Please, Blizzard.
