That’s not Swamp Thing, it's the Floronic Man/Jason Woodrue! He was an obscure human/plant hybrid villain of the Atom and Flash who was used by Alan Moore in his character-defining run on Swamp Thing, which in turn gave the Floronic Man a fair amount of prominence as a character. This eventually led him to being retroactively incorporated into Poison Ivy's origin (he taught her botany when she was in college), and he's ocasionally teamed up with her every now and again.

I don't trust it it'll likely be worst considering how other remakes of cartoons have gone.....also with how people are more easily offended by jokes nowadays. Hopefully it's good but I won't have any expectations.

Not sure about Melissa Rauch's voice for Harley
As someone who never really had a problem with Tara Strong's Harley, Rauch's is fucking fantastic. I feel like her's is much more Sorkin-like than Strong's, and I can dig it.

The next mainline X-Men movie is official: X-Men: Dark Phoenix will see Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy all return (along with the new, younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm), and also Jessica Chastain is in talks to join as the "main villain", the Shi'ar Empress Lilandra (which is pretty weird; Lilandra plays an antagonistic role in the original story, but she's definitely not a villain). And as previously rumored, longtime executive producer and writer for Fox's Marvel movies, Simon Kinberg, will direct the movie, making it his directing debut.

I dunno about all this. :-\

still too early for that, he just finished his best wolverine movie. if they replace him now, people are bound to start comparing, which unfair to his replacement actor tbh.
people are gonna compare anyways but it would a lot less harsh when interest in the logan movie had died.

Would be a waste to drop the cosmic soul mate thing when she has both her brother and sister to act as the villains.

Just hoping we get to see her royal guards kick the X-men's butts.

Fans are aware that Jackman is getting too old to keep doing Wolvie, we all know it's coming, but the studio is probably hoping to find the next Jennifer Lawrence. Other than that, they could wait a while to do the movie at all. A Dark Phoenix with nothing but Jean and Cyke would be boring, and pretty tough shoes to fill for the young guys who haven't been particularly notable as far as I've heard (haven't seen Apocalypse but I haven't heard any praise). Unless they just go "fuck everything" and stick with Lawrence, Fassbender, and McAvoy because money.
