Rhythmical said, June 21, 2017, 02:14:08 amHello everybody, this is my wip of cvsleona heidern and she is 13% done. I'm using the dampir's sprites as base for the size and adding new frames. I don't sure if add the shine in the hair... All feedback are welcome.Alex did a great cvs Leona sprite. You should use it as a reference.http://art-of-spriting.deviantart.com/art/CvS-Leona-Sprite-503164654Also, please add the shading to Leona's hair. It looks really off without it.
Leona is looking good, and you're doing pretty well with the face! I would say you could take Alex's sprite as reference for the shading of the skin, and that it really needs some shading to the hair in order to stand out.
Thanks for the feedback!I'll try use the Alex's sprite as reference for the shading of the skin and now i'm working in the shading to the hair.I have a short demo of her... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwj3PSY3lpUfor the moment i'm use the Memo's leona as base because is the more decent
Misty from Pokemon:Sprite by Metal Warrior. It was supposed to be a CPS2 image, but the palette count surpassed 16. Hence, the image is posted here. She's expected to kick butt very soon, though.

I wouldn't except anything less from MetalWarrior.
Not a bad attempt so far. Just remember to move her left leg (viewer's right) leg downwards, in order to match the way CvS perspective works.

sethzel said, June 26, 2017, 09:02:20 pmtry to convert 3d to 2d I hope you will finish it. Poison looks great so far. Maybe a bit to high, but when you get rid of this 3d perspective it should look fine. Keep up the good work.

I think that comparing your sprite to other cvs sprites is the best way to get the proper scale. I don't think there is a program that would do it automatically.

Yes, her torso need some adjustments as well. Lower her breasts and the rib cage. Her left arm should be visible. Something like this:Also, you should take a look at li_kun's sprite and use it as a reference. I think it's the clostest to what you can call a cvs Poison.http://uminokun.deviantart.com/art/Cvs-poison-251325996

sethzel said, June 28, 2017, 07:22:52 amwell her breasts and right hand are in the right placeFor the 3d aspect, yes. For the conversion to 2d, and CvS aspect ratio to boot, no they're not. Pay attention to what Sabockee did. It's not just a 2d conversion, it's changing her aspect ratio to fit CvS themed chars. Although, her left leg(viewer's right) looks a bit small scaled x wise. It's because in a 3d plane, that leg is slightly behind her. Though converting her to a 2d plane, the legs are now side by side. Keeping the 3d ratio makes it look smaller now.You have too much emphasis on the abdomen, same as Felo's sprite, as Walus above mentioned. Sabockee's edits should be what you're aiming for.
