Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cw7uaqh4cge6ozg/Urban%20Champion.zip?dl=0The Famicom Fighters version of Urban Champion has finally been converted to a standalone M.U.G.E.N character! Not only is he scaled up (and this can be reverted back to his original FCF size), he also comes with some configurable options which let you enable some other mechanics and change the control scheme as well! (This version also comes with some balance/move changes that will also be implemented in the next update for Famicom Fighters)
Really nice update. I still got your 2010 version from back in the days. Some feedback... - on enabled pause menu: maybe add on the screen with which button to select & cancel in the menu - Counter Attack cancel (B,B/F,F) is very hard to get... time is too short in the step back animation - typo in the readme... Sewer Brawl is done with a+b, not with punch - maybe add the "Other Stuff: Arrested! & Lurking in the sewers" text to the readme - Lurking in the sewers... does it hace to be in the last round? Tried it many times with "p2 within KO range" and haven´t gotten anything special - please add the 2010 version big portrait to the SFF

It is also randomized but maybe it occurs too rarely.Staubhold said, November 24, 2017, 11:07:30 pm - please add the 2010 version big portrait to the SFFBut the new one is so much better! I guess I could toss that into the SFF. (I guess 2010 mode wasn't enough. )
Oh nice i was wondering if you were gonna port any of these to normal mugen. Do you have any other plans to port the other characters as well?
Urban Champion updated (11/27/2017): https://www.dropbox.com/s/dn77x8xbu0iypb4/Urban%20Champion%20%2811-27-2017%29.zip?dl=0-Changes to be applied to the next FCF update:--Pause menu now displays the controls to navigate it.--If Training Mode is detected (NOTE: Ok, it actually checks for certain aspects of Training Mode, see XI. Known Issues/To-Do), the helper health and meter is always set to max.--The input window for Urban Champion's cancels for Counter Attack have been extended to fiveearlier frames.--Fixed a bug that prevented the fish from popping up if Urban Champion had to back dash during Sewer Brawl.--Fixed a bug where Balloon Fighter would set your helper meter to zero when he tossed theflipper.--Fixed a bug where vs. certain character, the opponent won't fall into the manhole and UrbanChampion would remain stuck during Sewer Brawl. (this isn't really FCF-specific but the code will be carried over for the FCF version anyways)--Fixed velocities for the helpers for scaled up Urban Champion. (also not really FCF-specific)-Changes for the standalone version only:--The general controls will update now if you use the six button scheme.--In the SFF file, there's now a portrait from the old 2010 Urban Champion. See Configuration Notes on how to change the portraits.--Fixed Urban Champion being able to air recover even when it's disabled.--Helper bars' position are now adjustable in Config.txt--If Urban Champion is the secondary player on a team during Simul mode, his helper bars will only be readjusted if his partner is a Famicom Fighters character. (EX: Another Urban Champion)--Readme changes: Fixed Sewer Brawl commands and added "X. Extra Stuff" and"XI. Known Issues/To-Do". The configurable stuff that does not relate to Config.txt has beensplit into its own section. (i. Non-Config.txt stuff)
Thanks for the update. Some quick feedback.. - cancel window from Counter Attack is still very narrow - typo in the readme is still in there... Sewer Brawl is done with a+b... that would be Light Kick + Hard Kick in the 4-button control scheme
@Staubhold: I'll toy with Counter Attack a bit more, maybe Spin Punch and Dodge will have to be single-press commands. As for the readme... crap, thanks for noticing that one. I can't believe I forgot about the 4-button scheme input.
I am very pleased and thanks for allowing to test this character before it's release. Kingpepe's creations are much sharper and much smoother. Those guys who didn't try it out yet, should definitly give it a try. It's a keeper for sure.
Urban Champion updated (12/2/2017): https://www.dropbox.com/s/god30ma47yitlw4/Urban%20Champion%20%2812-2-2017%29.zip?dl=0-Changes to be applied to the next FCF update:--Readjusted Urban Champion's jump speeds.--Spin Punch and Dodge now use new commands (Back + Punch, Back + Kick) but the input window during Counter Attack has been reverted.--Balloon Fighter's Flipper has been reworked; it's now blockable but on hit, it flings the opponent forwards. After throwing, Balloon Fighter will attempt to fly away as fast as he can.--Fixed an issue where Bubbles' stun wave and Balloon Fighter's attacks in general were not counting towards the juggle counter.-Changes for the standalone version only:--Readme changes: Added the 6-button scheme command for Sewer Brawl.
The most badass out of the Famicom Fighters cast. Thanks for making a standalone version as well, I'll check it out for sure!
