Boy, that was fun. Can't wait until next week's episode.
Spoiler: But yeah (click to see content)
So, a number of things that were predicted came true. Not implying that to be bad, just good to see it didn't take a less desirable turn, I suppose? We got Goku and Frieza together taking the fall to guarantee Jiren fell out and 17 ended up the winner. With the amount of opportunities everyone could have knocked out the other at any time if they didn't stall, it kinda kills the impact that 17 of all people ended up winning, personally, but whatever, it's fine. And he just deferred to what we presume would be Goku's wish, anyways. He got his boat from Bulma afterwards. (Which by the way, what a let-down, no 17 family shot. I wanted to see them before the series ended)
All the surprise was kinda foreseen months ago, but it was still a tad bit emotional at the end once everyone got restored. And thanks to 17 not being specific enough to refer to restoring only the universes taken thanks to the tournament, there's theory wiggle room for the ones Zeno took care of prior coming back. Yay, theories!
The original Goku vs Vegeta recreation at the end was a nice touch, and we see Frieza has once again restored the Frieza Empire. See how long this one ends up lasting.
