Mugen Data for AI development.

Hello everyone,

I'd like to use MUGEN as an environment to test modern AI algorithms and I plan to simply simulate user inputs rather than coding them into the char's AI.
But my knowledge of MUGEN is limited (haven't seen it in 10 years), so does anybody knows how to get access the mugen's main-render-thread and framebuffer to grab the P1 inputs and UI-data during gameplay?

Or if there's any other clever solution to grab the data I need from the game as it runs?

Thank you in advance for any information.

The internal "AI" engine is plain simple, because for every gametick, the AI picks a random command from the CMD file and performs it if the required triggers are met (such as having control, being on the cirrect statetype and/or having enough powerbar).
The AI doesn't press any button or even know which button has been pressed to perform the commands
