In the lore Richter was the most powerful Belmont in the Bloodline. I'm not sure about Julius but Richter had the best moveset in the games when Symphony came to Playstation. In Portrait of Ruin you literally fight a memory of Richter for control of the Vampire Killer.
Actually Julius is storywise the most powerful BelmontHe's killed Dracula so hard he reincarnated instead of resurrecting, ending a 900 year struggle And he can turn intangible at will But that's neither here nor there
My guy Speed knows his CV lore. Richter is definitely the most popular, and at one point it was speculated he was the most powerful. Though that was long ago and that was only due to Richter having the "item crash" ability in his respective games. None of the other Belmonts had the ability at the time, but that was just more of a gameplay progression thing. Not so much a Richter exclusive thing. Yeah, Julius was the only Belmont capable of eradicating Dracula entirely. Thus, Soma was brought into the fray. Richter having the best moveset is pretty subjective as well. He does have the iconic moves like the slide kick, tackle, uppercut, and aforementioned item crash ability(i.e. Hydro Storm/Grand Cross). Julius has good abilities himself. Only Julius and Simon can whip in all 8 directions, Julius has the Akuma like teleport, can use his whip to swing around, and can also slide and uppercut. All the Belmonts are capable of item crashing now. So that doesn't hold much weight for Richter. He was the first to do it though, in terms of games, so there's that I guess. Even so, Richter is very powerful, though not as skilled as other Belmonts like Julius and Simon. I'd say it safe to say that Richter is the 2nd strongest. Julius isn't very popular though... Mainly due to him never getting his own game.
Richter is looking great so far. I have one question in mind... are you planning on giving him his SSBU voice clips when they rip the sounds?
We need a Castlevania game starring Julius in his prime.Basically, a prequel to Soma's games that go into further detail about the Demon Castle War because it wasn't fully fleshed out in the Aria/Dawn.
been studying for a very long while and trying to polish my anatomy, gesture as well as animation skills, and I gotta say, I'm kinda happy were I am...for now...I'll try to update more often with the keyframes of my animations, some of them will be inspired by smash bros ultimate but with my own spin.
I'm back, just had to polish my skills overall.I was feeling very anxious about my lack of knowledge on art and animation so I decided to take my time with my own projects and start online courses to become a better artist and a better creator, hope I didn't let anyone down during my time off and if I did I'm gonna redeem myself starting today.
Balm, you will forever be a hero of mine. You taking your time is good, be happy with the decisions you make. The animations are looking great. You don't let us down. Never feel like that champ.
thanks guys I apreciate the kind comments , I'll try to have 3 animation sketches done per week until I reach the end of the movelist.
