I've BEEN got the code and redeemed it so I just need to wait for that patch so the Piranha Plant can show up in the select screen.
Patch 2.0 is out. Along with Piranha Plant, a handful of new updates got rolled out. The Partner Pikachu/Eevee spirits along with the event-exclusive spirits have been added into the regular rotation, and spirit board can now be played with up to four players.Interestingly enough, I thought to test this out and Piranha Plant does have a unique Palutena's Guidance conversation, Looks like they're actually doing them for the DLC this time around.
Piranha Plant is super tricky to play, but once you get the feel of how it plays, you can make some crazy plays.
The new pressing 2 jump buttons for an auto-short hop is a blessing.Plant's tricky to get use too but feels high-tier with lots of setups.

There's reports that using Piranha Plant in All-Star mode corrupts your save data. Good thing nobody really bothers with that, but a fair warning for anyone who does.

It is a tricky character to figure out, but it feels like it's got a very solid set of tools that could be useful. It's neutral B is an edgeuarding godsend once you get the spacing down, and I've had a lot of luck using it's side B to hide my movements from opponents. I'm nowhere hear the competitive level, but I have a feeling once the lab results come in we could see some really interesting stuff from Piranha Plant.

Oh, wow. That's a hella obscure.No wonder Nintendo hasn't figured out how to fix it yet....but surely this problem isn't just limited to only this SD card model, is it? If this problem is as widespread as we believe, the players affected can't all be using the same SD card model, could they?I suppose it's important to note that the article mentions counterfeit SD cards.
