I’m so excited for Banjo-Kazooie to drop. That Spiral Mountain stage looks great too, with Grunty and Bottles chilling in the back.I was mostly lukewarm on the idea of a Dragon Quest rep until I saw the DQ8 hero is one of the playable alts. That’s the only DQ I’ve played, but I played the shit out of it and loved it. I never once thought I’d ever see the Guv in Smash Bros.

I'm noticing both characters are heavily based on previous character's movesets, borrowing from others to glue together new characters. Slightly makes them less unique, but I guess it also makes me more interested in playing a FE character when it's not a FE character. Even when you can place where they're drawing moves from, they still reskin them well enough to resemble the new character's movepool, like Banjo's back air being Meta Knight's but clearly also the triple peck move from BK.I played DQ 1-3, so I know Erdrick and I know the guy with the bandana through Shonen Jump promoting it and the new guy from the new game. I am not familiar with the green one.
Green guy is the protag from Dragon Quest IV.They brought back original BK composer Grant Kirkhope to make a new arrangement of Spiral Mountain and it's beautiful.
Always happy to see new DLC drop and always happy to see Banjo-Kazooie finally making it to the roster. If there is a character who deserves a spot, it will be those two, especially given the extensive history Rare had with Nintendo in the past.
Which is the loudest: people screaming when they get a brand new car by surprise, people screaming when a FPS player got a 360 no-scope headshot during a MLG stream, or people screaming when Banjo-Kazooie is revealed for Super Smash Bros.?
