Hello, I'm still working on Vega, I hope to publish the progress on this Wednesday (my birthday xD). I'm looking for similar effects to these, to add them to the supers.

Today is my birthday :D , and to celebrate I share more progress of Vega. Enjoy!



- Added stand ligth kick.
- Added Remove Claw and Remove Mask.
- Added Sky-High Claw.
- Bloody High Claw in development, does not work yet (level 2).
-Added config for activation cage in specific stages (see "Config.txt" file).
- Added more palettes by davismaximus, sethzel and RagingRowen.
- Added more triggers for winquotes, intros and winposes: now Vega should be compatible with more characters.
- Changed code for slash sparks.
- Changed SprPriority code for Vega, mask and claw.
- Updated "Readme.txt" file.
- Some minor fixes.
- Color separation progress: 883 sprites done from 1474 (59,91% done).

Download spritepack and char for testing in the first post.

- Added a throw: Rainbow Suplex.

- Fixed Parry, Custom Combo and MAX Mode: aligned FXs and added sounds.
- Remove Claw and Remove Mask now reset claw hits and mask hits to the max values.
- Added jump dust FX to Back Slash, Short Back Slash and Scarlet Terror.
- Temporary disabled AI commands in CMD file.
- Various fixes.
- Updated "Readme.txt" file
- Color separation progress: 968 sprites done from 1474 (65,67% done).

The only feedback I have is that MAX Scarlet Mirage only does 2 Flips and the Stand Strong Punch only does 1 hit.
The Red Impact should probably have a stronger hit sound aswell if you can find one.
I feel like Splendid Claw (which you have planned) would be good as a Level 3, he'd have too many LVL2s if not.

Those Midnight Bliss sprites are based on the SvC version, where Vega uses a glove on that hand. When I adapted the colors to my version, I was not sure how to color that part, so I thought "bah, it's just three colors", and I left it that way

It's typical to make him do 3 attacks opposed to 2 for MAX supers.
In that vast majority of PotS chars including those of the Likes of Jmorphman and Divinewolf, the MAX versions of Supers are based off of the Level 3/MAX variation.
For example: Kyo's Orochinagi (Where he sets himself on fire while the button's held down) or Ken's Shoryureppa (3 Shoryukens opposed to 2 like I said).

Wait... Vega has gloves in SvC!? o_O

Now seriously, lol. I just wanted to point out that adding a separation to the Midnight Bliss top/chest would be a suitable idea, because then she doesn't need to seem "nude" whenever someone makes a non-tatoo Vega palette. And because there's already a glove separation, I thought it would be just as easy to add that. :P

Since you made his beta avaiable, and becuse it was, indeed, relatively easy to do!

No need to really worry about that. :)

I really appreciate the work you did, and I think it's a good idea. However, I can not apply it, for two reasons:

1. "Midnight Bliss Top" uses only 4 colors, there is a color in the template that is not being used.

2. I must apply any change in the template also to the sprite pack, since I plan to launch it as a resource for other authors. That is, I should reindex the almost one thousand sprites that I have now, and it is very tedious.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your interest in this char.
