winmugen font corrupt in 1.1

I was trying to install some old HNK lifebars into my 1.1 mugen

I was able to successfully modify it to work into 1.1. except for the fonts that came out corrupted

I have zero font knowledge, so any help on to how to fix them?

try opening the font with font factory and change the value of "color depth" to 256:
