I made a sprite sheet, and made the palette using Irfanview. But when I put them in fighter factory, it said both were not compatible. Is there a way to fix this? like, would I need to make the background color a different layer?

Images must be 256 colour .pcx files.

Make sure you have an .act file as well once you're in mugen. Use pal2act to create it.

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

well, I did convert my pcx sprite sheet to 256, then made the pal file, and converted it to act file. But I get a problem there
