Simpson vs. Family Guy: Does FG copy EVERYTHING?

Ok, so it's pretty apparant that Family Guy copies from Simpson. And from I've seen now, South Park from Family Guy. Now obviously, Family Guy doesn't JUST copy off of the Simpsons:

Now, this has got me thinking. Since the Simpsons came out with a movie, will Family Guy actually come out with a movie? Or already has? because I'm pretty sure "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" can't really be considered a movie.
Will Family Guy continue to copy other things for their own profit?

Not much of a "topic" to discuss, but it was on my mind

I find FG more adult oriented jokes to be far funnier than the Simpsons, but that's probably because the Mexican dub for Latinamerica washed off all of the American humor which I find hilarious... while Family guy I've watched in english right from the start.

The Simpsons were out of control, while Family guy is just plain absurd and has no message at all.
I like Family Guy a lot better because I don't have to think :seius:

coulda sworn i seen it somewhere else, not just simpson  :S

and IMO FG > Simpsons. i find no more humor in simpsons  :-\

The shows around american families' lifestyle it's a constant in the history of TV and every show copies things from others. If we want to, we can say The Simpsons copied The Flintstones. There are a lot of similarities.

American Dad isnt funny though, I don't understand why you would want to watch an unfunny show.

Simpsons started losing luster at about Season 15. Everything before that is PURE gold. But in favor of Family Guy, I have to say... Simpsons does do a lot of movie referencing in its episodes that can also be considered "ripping off". But the way that Family Guy portrays their characters is too much like Simpsons after the initial season and it didnt really click well with me, Stewie really makes that show, because some of the jokes make me embarassed for them.

That was such a non sensical paragraph, but what-EVER. Multi-digression ftw.
