Yeah, they were good. All in all you could make 1 CD with 15 good songs of them.
It was a good premise, rock + hip hop. I liked what Shinoda did with Fort Minor.
Oh yeah, and that song with the Executioners - It's going down.

Yeah I checked it out. Considering what "nu metal" I was listening to in the mid-to-late 90s I would've guessed that Prodigy be a contributor to this genre (basing this off of the The Fat of the Land album).

Not necessarily. I was thinking (and hoping) the same formula they used in Meteora and Reanimation would be repeated in their new LP but sound much better.

But but but... they're doing it wrong.

I see, for example, the Foo Fighters following the same formula as always, and they still make it. LP is just not delivering, it's like they put their Rock to the Sun and let it to dry out.

They need less introspection, more paranoia and more electronic sounds, like those other albums that weren't theirs [Collision Course, Reanimation]

I have to side with Val on the collision course album. Tired lyrics over instrumentals I've since grown tired of. And as I've said to some close friends, Jigga What/Faint still isn't strong enough to save the album.
