Here's my 1st contribution to Infinity's Release Party 2009. Both Psylocke and Jon Talbain
have received extensive updates, both visual and coding. Here's a small, condensed list
of what's been done:

PSYLOCKE
-Tweaked all moves & attacks in order to ensure balance and prevent infinites
-Fixed issue where shadow clones would be unaligned under certain conditions during
 Illusion
-Revamped triggers in cmd to make executing of moves much easier
-Redid Hyper initiation
-Tweaked AI (still nothing great)
-Added 6 new palettes and made them compatible to Concussion
-Revised Aerial Rave coding & jump attacks
-Tweaked MvC-related coding
-Reinstated Screenbound during Ninjutsu and tweaked triggers
-Fixed combo message issues

JON TALBAIN
-Recoded and tweaked Beast Cannon and Hyper Beast Cannon as well as added streak FX
-Revised Aerial Rave coding & tweaked jump attacks
-Tweaked MvC physics-related coding
-Redid Hyper initiation
-Recoded Hyper BG to be universal amongst most Hyper Combos
-Changed commands within both cmd types, while removing some commands from cmd
-Upgraded Wild Ride to 3 versions based on button pressed
-Tweaked and updated Mirage Body in relations to Billion Flicker and Wild Ride
-Added lower defense during Mirage Body
-Added increased damage for all throws during Mirage Body
-Tweaked clsn
-Various tweaks to all moves, especially to prevent infinites
-Fixed combo message issues

R@CE45 also was kind enough to whip up a new song track for Psylocke, which is a remix of her song in the old SNES game, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse. Although there is no new stage for her in the EOH project, you can get her MSH stage made by Inverse and use it for the new song track here: Shin Inverse's Hideout

Something I forgot to mention,the new streak sprites for Talbain's Beast Cannon were ripped by Bonzai, and can be found at <http://sdb.drshnaps.com/SpritesArcade.htm>. Tonight I will add credit to both Bonzai and R@ce45 in the readme, and reupload the files again.

Psylocke's 'PSI THRUST' won't change direction, at will after you've done it. It only changes when you first activate it.

Just tested right now, Psi Thrust changes direction just fine for me, whether using a controller or keyboard. Make sure you're holding in the direction you want to go when you extend the move.

It seems that when you initiate to do the move it comes out with little effort, but during the psi thrust it seems a bit hard to pull off. Sometimes when I press the directional pad down hard, along with the button it'll respond; not all the time, though.

:omg: I thought I forgot something. Forgot to mention here that both characters have gotten slight updates, but I'd advice downloading the patch files if you already downloaded yesterday or very early this morning.

Sabaki, great work on Jon Talbain. I've tested it just for some minutes, but it seams very solid.

PSYLOCKE :
- Small portrait is not the correct size.
- CLSNs need complete revamping. Please follow K.O.D's tutorial about how to do collision boxes. There are far too many of them.
- Didn't check for all, but some supers give back power to Psylocke.
- Messages such as "Danger" shouldn't be affect by PalFX (for example, if Psylocke is getting burnt, the "Danger" message shouldn't appear orange).
- She shouldn't be invincible during evasive roll. You should put CLSNs and use NotHitBy, still making her throwable.
- Hayate No Jutsu -> Cascade Rush has a very strange binding when Psylocke grabs the opponent. He strangely teleports in another position when she catches him.
- Illusion would look much better with a fade to Black effect.
- Generally speaking, I don't like most super portraits you (Infinity Team) use. They often have Jpeg artifatcs.

-Yeah, you're right. I think that's the size for the SMvC: EOH screenpack. I'll add another one.
-I'll check the CLSNs again, for when I 1st did them I was still under the impression that they had to be defined accurately to each part of the body. Recently I learned that they don't, but I've been lazy to checking all my characters and changing them for manually adding & fixing CLSNs take so much time  :P
-I could've sworn I added getpower = 0 to all her hitdefs. I'll check again.
-I'll add ownpal = 1 to the explods.
-For evasive roll, I think I only made her invincible for around 10 ticks with a Nothitby and a PlayerPush for her to go by the opponent. It doesn't have any CLSNs? Time to redo that, then.
-Binding for Cascade Rush was abit iffy, I won't lie. I think it's because of thw way I did the Targebind to have her align with the opponent in case near a corner or something. I'll see if I can redo it.
-Hmm, I'll take that into consideration....
- o_O...I really do like the updated portrait I added, though....

general game play and combo ability
obviously look and sound

ai is non existent, but you said that in the readme
seems like the damage numbers need to be increased on multiple moves
and whatever is happening in these pics




and its not a stage thing, as does it on every stage i tested. i have a standard eve screenpack for winmugen if that helps  ???

Yeah, apparently everyone who uses EVE screenpack has that issue with a random sprite appearing. Been going through the .sff and .cns this morning and trying to locate the issue.

as far as I know, its the sprites of the group 8000 and more.

hi man,this is the same reply than IMT ,you need to do a few fixes in psylocke ,first you have many sprites unused (thanks for the sprite set) and when psy makes any type of his blade move look poor animated and fail too fast to the ground.
i dont know how is the eoh fight system but this char need medicine

talbain need more exagerated moves,if eoh use things from mvc2 you need exagerate certain moves like two or three more punches on one of his hypers, then the fire wolf you can use the original image from darkstalkers but more colorated (red,orange,blue like fire)

remember the felicia sand attack from mvc2 is different for previous games (has two sand color) or his spin atack has more moves

morrigan soul eraser differ from mvc1 and mvc2 (in mvc2 bats change colors)

anakaris has alot of improvement in mvc2

Unfortunately, no. I hasd someone test a new .SFF I edited over the weekend but the square still appeared. I'm gonna go through the whole .SFF again and start renumbering Group no. and sprite numbers to see if that will help. I'll fix this, for sure.
